A straight-from-the-factory unmodified Harley has a potato-potato sound that registers 80 decibels, according to Piehl. To put that in perspective, consider that:
A food processor grating a carrot is 80 decibels
An electric lawn mower is 81 decibels
A vacuum cleaner on a bare floor is 82 decibels
Truck traffic is 90 decibels
A gas-powered chain saw is 106 decibels This is according to a decibel chart provided by Edward W. Korabic, chairman of the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at Marquette University.
This is of course a standard unmodified bike, changing pipes can increase or decrease this reading.

A few years ago, without a doubt, I would have plumped for Emirates. But the last couple of years I feel that they have gone downhill rapidly. They are cramming more seats onto planes, the food is average at best and the stewardesses are no where near as attentive as they once were. I know there are always exceptions but I must have flown with them 20+ times in the last 2 years and if it wasn't for the airmiles I'd be flying Qatar or Singapore.

And likewise, (and I have no doubt I'll get blasted for this)...a girl who smokes falls squarely within the same category.

David Beckham insists he did not get booked deliberately to ensure he is available for England’s tour to the United States. The Real Madrid midfielder was cautioned during his club’s 0-0 draw with city rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday. The yellow card took him to the bookings threshold and he will be suspended for Real’s final game of the campaign against Real Zaragoza next weekend.
His suspension means he could now link up with the England squad ahead of their first game of their two-match tour on May 28. But while Beckham is unsure if he will be granted permission to join up with his country, he is adamant he did not set out to be cautioned to ensure he could lead England in both matches.
“I didn’t get booked deliberately,” said Beckham. “I would never do that. It would never have been a yellow card in England.
“As far as I am concerned I will be spending the week with the team (Real Madrid). I wanted to play in the Zaragoza game.” It is the second time this season that Beckham has become embroiled in this type of case after he admitted to being deliberately booked for England in a World Cup qualifier against Wales, which ensured he missed a game in Azerbaijan. Coach Wanderley Luxemburgo has yet to decide if he will release Beckham for England’s tour, although team-mate Michael Owen will only be available for the second game against Colombia on May 31.

If a Thai girl really cares about what most farangs think about them, they would clearly never get any tattoos period. I think they are lacking something upstairs when they plaster the hideous things on their bodies. It must be some kind of mass brain washing whereby they believe that people find the putrid things attractive. I will never forget when the most beautiful girl in my local bkk bar came into work one day with her 1st one. It was one of those huge shoulder blade tats. I was appalled and told her so. no going back. disgusting. no chicks with tats for me
Your opinion is your opinion, but I have to disagree that you can tell us what is going on inside a woman's mind ! ! (If you can you are the first)
My line of work has allowed me to meet many, many professional women and my travels have allowed me to meet a very, very substantial amount of "Ladies of the Night".
Both "types" of Lady regularly in my experiences have tattoos, the difference being the "Professional" normally has hers discreetly covered when clothed.
Having a tattoo on her body would never make me judge a woman's sanity levels, the two things are in no way conected.

I have a Thai wife, who is gorgeous considerate, careful with our money and very loving. In essence she is a dream.
Luckily I have the same.
We are now living in the Emirates and when my wife first came over I was quite shocked by the reactions of (mainly) the western expatriate women. Whilst the majority took to her immediately there were some who ignored her, avoided her and were even obviously talking about her in our company.
Nowadays these same women have noticed that they are in the minority and are missing out on the BBQ's, nights out, etc. that we don't invite them to and are trying to get back into our favour.
My wife's attitude..."If they did not want to know me then...why should I want to know them now.

Now, if I ever have to take it off and forget to put it back on, I almost feel a panic until I've retrieved it and have it round my neck again.
I have three, one from the wife, one from her father and one I got years before. I wear them every day only taking them of for shower, sleep and sex, or if ever I am shirtless. I never flaunt them (medallion man style) and only my very close fiends and family even know I wear them.
But if I ever forget to put them on, I always realise when I start to not feel right.

It is all a bit screwed up.
In Scotland there are 2 Champions league spots which will go to Rangers and Celtic (as usual), and there are two UEFA slots, one which goes to 3rd place (Hibs or Aberdeen) the fourth goes to the beaten finalists of the Scottish cup, Dundee United. Sounds fair ?
Well, none of the big teams really care about the cup, it costs more to participate than they earn and Dundee United are currently second bottom of the league, if they lose on Saturday they will probably be relegated.
Meanwhile there is all likelihood that the 3rd place loser shall miss out on Europe by 1 goal difference.
Do you think that it is right that a team who week in week out are beaten by the likes of Livingston, Dunfermline and Inverness Caley should be representing their country based on a lucky string of results last year ? When one of the consistent and top 4 finisher misses out .
