  1. Will be looking to move to Thailand soon and my current set up is a Win PC and a PS4. I am more of a PC gamer but will uses my PS4 Pro occassionally (mostly using it for Netflix and Youtube on big screen). I have a lot to pack so I am having a hard time deciding whether to bring my PS4 with me. At the same time, bring the desktop is not practical (given age and size) so I am thinking or getting a gaming laptop either in the USA or in Thailand. Given I will renting a small condo, wondering if it makes sense to bring my PS4 with me to Thailand. Do not need a PC immediately, but will get one eventually. I guess gaming laptops are more expensive but are there good deals to be had in Thailand?
  2. Thanks for all the recommendations, Siam Oriental and the Riviera Jomtien looks perfect. For the people who don't like dogs in condos, take it easy guys.
  3. Looking at moving to Pattaya in a couple of months and will be bring a small dog (shih tzu)with me. Was checking out various site to see what condos are availble for rent that accept small dog. So far only three condos, all in Jomtien which is perfect, allows dog. The three conds are Jada Beach Condo, Coconut Beach, and Mantrari Jomtien Beach View. Saw a couple more places on Air BNB that accept dogs but I am pretty sure those condos do not officially allow dogs. Looking for a one to two bedroom condo, close to the beach that allows dog. Looking for suggestions.
  4. That is exactly what I was asking about, the reporting requirement after you get the 1-year visa. Sounds like my plan is not going to be a problem assuming I can find short term leases in the various cities I am going to.
  5. Thanks for the quick response, indeed I meant the Non O visa. I guess the requirement is that I will need to go back to the "home" province every 90 days during the one-year validity of the visa. So it is not possible to live in BKK, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai,..etc. for 3-4 months in each cities.
  6. Planning to retire late this year of months by applying the O-A visa when I arrive in Bangkok as a visa exempt tourist. Not exactly sure where I would to like to stay in Thailand long term so I like to stay a couple of months in various places. Is this plan viable, I understand that you will need proof of residency and the TM30 forms will need to be filled.
