No, there's no mis-pointing. It's very clear that he points at the hole and where he ended up.
Wrong.
A "pointers" purpose is to "point" at the feature of the report.
The drunk druggie is the feature. Not the hole.
And, "double-pointing" is way beyond the average Thai "pointer".

Pity no "damage-photo" with a "pointer".

This report has been flipped from a drunk / druggie falling through the roof, to a "pointer" pointing in the wrong direction.
The "pointer" should be arrested for "mis-pointing".

""blames wet road for truck slamming into footbridge""
How could he have the front to say this ?
Driving at 10-20 kph would not have caused this accident.
Will the Police accept that excuse ? Depends on you know what.

Can anyone direct the me to the ministers offices for: silly walks, unfathomable idiocy, and cake making ?
2 of the 3 above do have their own designated ministry departments.
Cake making though, is within the 2nd of the above.
OK ??
Sorted.

Standard Thai behaviour.
ME ME ME.
And no eye contact with the guy in the wheel-chair. That makes it ok.

Don't tell me a sign would have helped that guy????
I don't agree.
If a sign said "No Road" the driver would surely have avoided that stretch.

That's what I can never understand here, like parents worldwide, the Thai love their kids yet are incredibly irresponsible in the duty of keeping them safe. My stepdaughter drives a car with blacked out windscreen which I refuse to drive after dark because it's downright dangerous. No matter how much I threaten and cajole her, she won't get it changed. This is because my wife keeps backing her and says "It's normal here". She's a schoolteacher and thinks the world of our daughter so you'd think she'd back me in this.
Yep.
Western mentality versus Thai mentality.
Mystery falling child case: CCTV reveals terrifying reality

A 4 year old can unlock a door ?
If that is the case, then the door should have been securely locked so the child could not get out.
Your answer makes it OK for the child to get out.
Either way, the parents are responsible.
