I saw a video of a Policeman stop 3 kids on a motor bike without helmets. The punishment was 20 press-ups. And he was applauded by social media for being so lenient.

That might be the correct fare for that.

Nobody really knows for sure about that yet.

It's not a scam to demand payment of correct fares.

3 months at 10 baht a ride.

1 random ride 20 baht.  OK. It's not a scam. 

3 months at 10 baht gave 50% discount each ride for no reason.

3 years ago the daily stat was 74 people die a day.

These stats are craftily lowered on a continual basis.

Drink driving is just 1 of many factors.

Cannot blame it all on drink driving.

Respect for road signage.

Red light jumping.

Pulling into path of other vehicles without looking.

No tail lights on motor bikes.

No safety helmets.

The list is endless.

Alcohol is just 1 factor.
