I explain the true story, so he admit is fake news. Thread closed.

    1)plane from Indonesia (Jakarta)

    2) NO Thais test positive

    3) NO foreigners from Thailand test positive

    4) NO one allowed to get off the plane in Bangkok. Is the rule.

The covid situation is very big problem. The Rayong problem the government talk about maybe lockdown thailand again if spread. People loose job, close the business. People suffer. Everybody angry government allow this happen.

Thailand win covid. Start live again.

Please not spread fake news. Is serious thing, not joke.

How is the South Korea 2nd wave ?  media was salivating over that recently wanting it to happen.........FAIL

How is the Beijing 2nd wave ? media was salivating over that recently wanting it to happen.........FAIL

The UK 2nd wave after protests and beaches full ?  media was salivating over that recently wanting it to happen.........FAIL

Media running out of scare stories ?  Now they are trying to hype up a Bollywood actor getting it.........its as if they want him to die to have a headline...........

Thailand more people die on one weekend in road accidents than 6 months of Covid-19 ?

Cases of Covid rising but deaths going down rapidly ?

Now being realised most people have a T-cell response and are asymptomatic ?

Only 20% of people who get it may have an Antigen response ?  80% having a T-cell response ? Measuring for IgG or IgM is useless as most people T cell response ?

IFR rate projections now pointing to 0.05% to 0.1% (eg same as strong flu)

Projections now that 60% or more of the worlds population may already be immune from having a previous coronavirus infection (common cold).

Circa 2 million people dying from Tuberculosis every year and nobody cares (and there is a vaccine for it) ? Its a contagious disease - boring though isnt it just 2 million dead every year ?

The high early death rates seen was due to incorrect medical treatment ?  Using steroids killed people ? Using ventilators killed people ?

Now they know how to treat it (no steroids, no ventilators, use blood thinners etc...) death rates becoming very low ?

Euromono data how shows fewer people are dying in Europe than normal - gone from excess mortality weekly to now very few people dying weekly ?

2020 if this continues with less deaths than normal now, will see the year as a whole have exactly normal number of deaths same as every year ? EG Covid-19 in 2020 will see no additional deaths than is normal and this scenario is looking very likely now based on the Euromono data coming out.

At some point the world is going to realise that, looking back, in hindsight, this virus was nothing much, the media made it into something that it really was not and hundreds of millions of people suffered the consequences of that fear mongering.

Tourism in Thailand will die if this stupidity continues, the question is, who opens first wins............  If Thailand opens too late, or with too many restrictions, the losses will be more than other Asian countries and it may take 10 years to recover.............

Taiwan handled about 200000 quarantines of incoming persons, just as Germany did (as Berti mentioned).

The virus has been eliminated in Taiwan,  not just flattened the curve (contrary to what Tim writes in another post).

Everyone who stayed in home quarantine in Taiwan got 1000 TWD per day from the government,  that's about 1000 baht - even foreigners got it (can you smell a difference to Thai's attitude?). Fine for breaking quarantine up to 1000,000 TWD - and your neighbors would watch.

    It's doable.

    I’m moving to Taiwan ????????!!!

    Utter nonsense.

If they were worried they'd have gone home months ago at the peak back in April. The UK is not alone in opening up - pretty much all of Europe has opened.

Although opening up bars is absurd.

Totally. Why should people be allowed to relax and have fun with this big nasty virus out there! (99% non-fatal). Let’s just close all bars, permanently.  I bet you’re fun at parties!!

Thats untrue - People of any Nationality are treated with equal indifference at any public hospital in the UK.

People in the UK with Covid-19 symptoms are told to stay home and isolate and only to seek medical assistance if their symptoms are serious, difficult breathing etc.

Anyone attending hospital with Covid-19 symptoms will be immediately sent home unless their condition is serious at which point they will be either taken to or placed in a medical facility specifically set up to treat serious Covid-19 patients.

Your comment implying that Thai’s are treated less equally than a British citizen needs to be 'called out’.

The reason your comment may exist is that Thai’s treat hospitals differently than the British.

In the UK people go to hospital for serious illness. We don’t go to a hospital if we have a cold or the flu unless our condition become serious, an emergency. In the majority of non serious cases we will be told to go home and take paracetamol etc to control our temperature.

I can see that someone not familiar with the UK ’system’ goes to a UK Hospital with ‘cold symptoms’ as they would in Thailand, expecting to walk away with 4 different types of medication (white, blue, pink and yellow tablets) and feels hard done by or treated unfairly when they are told to ‘go home and take paracetamol’ - a British person would receive exactly the same response.

Smell the coffee everyone. This is nothing more than a bad flu doing the rounds. Trump is spot on for once, over 99% will not die. But carry on living in fear if it makes you happy:)))

Additional conditions appears to the global norm for foreigners wanting to enter Thailand in the window starting 1/july. Quite a few more hoops to jump through to make it.

I am struggling that we have to reserve ASQ & flight ticket (not a booking) as a pre-requisite for applying at the embassy for certificate of entry (CoE). once application has been submitted, being told this can take 10-14 days. most of the ASQ's are non-changeable/non-refundable.

By the time we obtain the CoE (10-14 day lead time), fit to fly & C19 test not older than 72 hours attested by the embassy, there is a high possibility to change date for ASQ or flights. How do we handle this, given ASQ bookings are not changeble/refundable?

Or Am i missing anything that others are seeing?

looking forward to what you guys have learned from other locations

I’m in Sri Lanka. On my application form I wrote “I’ll book flights and asq when I get my Cert. of Entry”. My application was submitted 3 weeks ago. Still waiting to hear...

Don’t pay for ASQ or flights until you get your Certificate. Getting your money back could be a problem!

58 dead in Covid19 and they close down the country. 20000+ dead on the streets EVERY YEAR and they don't do anything!

It should be obvious to anyone by now that this plandemic is being used by this dictatorship to keep out as many whiteys as possible for as long as possible, and make as much money out of quarantine as possible for as long as possible. Covid1984: the gift that keeps on giving...

Almost certainly the answer is NONE!

A lot of TVF farang male members seem to have this double standard, superiority complex. Claiming they're lions amongst gazelles. They readily make jokes about Asians. In this case, Koreans and Thais and at the same time brush off white stupidity and crime. I bet these are the kinds of people who complain about foreign migrants back in their own home countries and come here to moan about how they get mistreated when they're in Thailand. Racists are racists wherever they go... Not all farang are like that and Thailand welcomes them. But for those who are, They should go back or stay in their own country, Thailand is better without them.

Are we not allowed to find this funny?

Seems like someone is lacking a SOH.

So which would you choose (only guys with a sense of humour reply please)

This really is an important idea, I am fairly sure I had covid back in February. If I took an antibody test now that shows that I did, it would make sense I could travel to Thailand. But I have heard nothing about this. Why quarantine the immune?

    The answer is.........????????????????????

Thailand really is very good at shooting itself in the foot. With BLM / racial discrimination being so high on the global agenda - and as a country that relies on tourism, this becomes high on the agenda of Thailands customers. These actions are clumsy at best and paint Thailand in a poor light, opening the proverbial barn doors to Thailand being seen as an unfriendly country to foreigners.
