I don't feel ripped off as was my choice to pay him £25 for lockdown haircut. He has to pay petrol to get over here as he lives 10 miles away.
I found a bag of plain flour for sale today and the cost was double pre-C19 rates and also purchased garlic two weeks ago from local convenience store and that was double price also (not complaining as needed plain flour and garlic) . Our lockdown shopping bill has also significantly increased as we do weekly shop in M&S now as queues are virtually non-existent and shelves generally well-stocked compared to Morrisons, Tesco and Asda.
When it all pans out my wife and I are better off financially during lockdown even taking into account the increased prices of goods.
Maybe you misunderstood me I am not complaining you pay him more now because
he comes to your place I was just comparing the normal haircut price compared to
my country.

I have made them both with and without breadcrumbs. I think the dry breadcrumbs is better because the dry bread absorbs the meat juice and flavor. and the egg is a binder.
85% ground beef is the best for a juicy burger,
I think burger chauvinism does not apply , anyway you like it is best.
If you want but don't have bread crumbs, or a blender to make breadcrumbs , soak some Bread in water. and then squeeze the water out.
Yes you can use old stale bread which you don't eat anymore soak it in water
but squeeze it dry before you add it

My hairdresser (we're in UK) is coming to my house on Monday for my second lockdown haircut. Poor guy is struggling as he can't open his barbers but is still paying full rent. He's delivering parcels during the day now to settle his shop rental obligations. I've had C19 and he has also as we both know without requiring a test.
Anyway, I get a much needed haircut and he gets some much needed cash. His usual shop rate is £11 for a haircut but I've bumped this up to £25 for home visit. My choice and feel it's a fair rate all things considered and he's happy with it too.
Well you getting ripped of in any case, i pay 10Australian dollars for my haircut
which is just 5 English pounds I guess.

So you've had the test. What was the result? They're also highly unreliable so I assume you've taken at least three tests?
yes I have, only because I had a sore throat and a runny nose, but I am in the age group
which is mostly affected.

Hello wake up, that poster does not live in Thailand, so no point about talking
Thai beef which I know is horrible.

Have you got a spare £400 for a C19 test that's as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike to try it for the benefit of mankind?
I live in the civilized country I pay nothing

Check out the stats. C19 testing is as useful and reliable as an ashtray on a motorbike and that's from the mouths of doctors.
You got any links about ashtrays on motorbikes quoted by doctors?

I can cook most things, nothing fancy, basic home-cooking and baking I would call it.
More of a hobby at one time. Enjoy making the odd meal and playing in the Kitchen when "she who will be obeyed" allows it! she doesnt like me in there says its her job...555
Well I do just home cooking now, no point for me to cook all the fancy meals I did years ago
since I am by myself now. But I still enjoy cooking. As you know I am not in Thailand anymore
I moved back years ago, most Australians cook at home, yes many buy take away but that
is just junk food and it is not cheap.

Sounds similar to mine, when I make them.
Minced Beef, small amount of minced pork or bacon, seasoned, worcestershire sauce, mustard, mixed with egg and table spoon of breadcrumbs to bind. ????
I guess you are a good cook as well, as I mentioned in another thread I did win a
cooking competition on TV many years ago in Australia so I don't think I am a bad cook.

Anybody van make a youtube. Sure that is very tasty.
A Burger is 100 percent ground beef. Call it a hamburger if you want.
Is a slice of meatloaf on sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise a burger?
Not in my book. It is not recognized as a preparation by Chefs. They would call it a meatloaf sandwich.
My recipe is not from U-Tube I only posted this because I use an egg as well and some
breadcrumbs which helps to stick the patty together. And I use ground beef (Mince)

Bread crumbs and eggs?
That's a meatloaf sandwich.
Edit: In fairness, I found the quality, consistency and smell of Thai ground beef to be so bad that I don't blame anyone for adulterating their burger. Anything to get rid of that smell... I gave up on Thai beef and made my burgers in Thailand from ground chicken or ground pork.
Is it ?

I use egg and breadcrumbs

Oh you think so? Do you know me? Maybe I have to tell you I do like cooking
and won a competition on Australian TV many years back, so don't commend
on something you have no clue about.

They do if they're too lazy or too busy. Home made gai pad mit mamuang tonight, lunch from the market. Also had to go to the market for some of the ingredients for tonight's meal. Problem?
No problem at all, I realize one has to go to the market or supermarkets to buy
stuff you need for cooking in all the years I have lived in Thailand I have never
bought ready meals from the market I always cooked at home, and yes I was
married and busy some times.

Yes we are both excellent cooks. Next question.
Excellent cooks don't need to go to the market to buy meals they cook at home

Shhh.... leave my market alone. I would starve if that market closed. My wife is there as we speak buying me Khao pad gung and cha manao for my lunch. Some people just don't know when to keep their mouths shut. 555
Can't your wife or you cook?

Yes it all depends on the average wage in that country I guess
and yes Aussie barbers or hairdressers are always full.
And don't get me wrong I was not criticizing you and and good
on you for helping
