They can help themselves by getting a job .

Its not to difficult the get a job in Thailand or even to make money by selling food or something , everyone else manages it .

Its not like they suddenly fallen on hard times and need some assistance , to them , its their job, asking for money .

Theres a family near me who are professional beggars , must be about four  woman and several kids and husbands in the background , taking in turns to sit by the road in tourist areas with a kid , sometime barely a year old , sitting all night long breathing in the car exhaust fumes with their cup in front of them .

Theres jobs available if they want them , but they would rather beg .

Sure, let's get them working massaging 8 hr on sweaty hot men for a few dollars. Or serve meals all day for 15 dollars.

No no no. Let's not do that. Let's invest in them to buy a food cart and have a good education so they can work ethically  and fairly. Compassion and empathy simply missing in some.

Sure there's the no hopers, but a lot not given the chances I've been given and I do feel guilty and horrified.

    Hello!

I'm currently taking 20mg of Valdoxan (Agomelatine - aka Melitor or Thynamax in Thailand) and will run out soon.

I have a prescription and medical certificate from my Australian doctor. Is it possible to go to a larger international pharmacy in Bangkok and receive the medication like this? Otherwise I'm happy to go to a hospital or psychiatric facility for a consultation / receive a prescription in Thailand. I just don't know where to start so any information will be appreciated!

    Thank you

Hi did you end up finding this in pharmacy?

Download the app "CPU-Z" on Play Store. It will tell you what the true components are and how much RAM and memory it actually has.  I once bought a copy Galaxy S3.  It looked perfect but once i installed a few app's, It didn't run well at all.  Turned out to have phony Android and very little RAM or memory.

Yes, and even if the ram is true size there are different speeds. Cheaper ram could slow a system down.

The best test is to pack a phone full of apps and multitask the hell out of it for a week. This is where most cheapies will fail. But if your a light user it doesn't matter so much. Go for what looks cool to you.

  4. Watched bandersnatch on Netflix with the multiple choice selections. Was ok. After it all replays it goes back over alternate scenarios. I reckon they'll keep this type up because probably harder to pirate stream that way.

I particularly liked the acid tripping scene. English have always been good at acid dropping scenes.

I think pink Floyd started all that

     Thanks Roger.

When I first read this headline, around 6:30am, I dismissed it as not even worthy of thinking about, let alone posting about. I thought about the hypocrisy of the heading whilst eating my breakfast - to be true, it ruined my breakfast - and decided that I ought to try to submit a post in response to what is nothing other than a massive insult to the average Thai's intelligence.

Sadly, I had to excuse myself from breakfast and head for the loo. I said I might be some time. I was and, to be true, this utter filth from Prayuth's black hole of a mouth is likely to taint the rest of my day . . . and, more than likely, the days of a million millions of self-respecting Thais across the country.

Oh, please, Thailand . . . put this shameful bit of humanity inhumanity where he belongs . . . sometime soon.

Gladys! . . . pass me another loo roll, will you.

What did you have for breakfast?

Monitoring truck  or just a "home-brew" school project ???

I was told the real deal. I thought it quite odd.

Worrying about air quality yet the streets littered and sewerage problems left unchecked.

  7. If anyone has faulty tv lying around that you want to get rid of please PM me.

I had an ad up on baht sold for faulty tvs wanted but got zero interest. So I'm guessing possibly tvs are pretty reliable in these recent times.

  8. The practical things I look for are the thickness, especially for wall mount, viewing angle, reflectivity, blackness of blacks, picture enhancement i.e. put a USB in with a low grainy quality AVI and see how the tv handles it. Try a few formats if you use USB media a lot.

Audio bass if your not hooking up hifi, number of ports n connectivity,  HDMI audio aux out 3.5mm or RCA. Check if remote control is easy for you to use.

    of course warranty period.

If you find a tv model you want make sure the sticker number matches. There can be slight to large variation on a model with an extra or different digit.

And nothing worse than a tv that changes channels slowly.

I liked the sharp aquos myself.

But new panels coming out every year. Good luck. If you like the TCL go for it.
