<deleted> has this got to do with Andrew Claypole, social policy chief for Unicef Thailand?
OK Andrew, here's the solution. Give them your money, then they won't have to go off to the cities to find work and can raise their children.
Anything short of that....<deleted>.

Let the children be.
Is that too much to ask?

Come on, we all know they are best mates with the cops, TiT after all....

Only the best for Thailand.

Indian smuggler paid for by a Nigerian. It is driving me crazy on my visas here, what category do the Nigerians fall in? Please clean them all out.
That is an extremely poorly thought out comment. Next time they catch an English pedophile will you be suggesting clean out all English men.
Why do you think he is trying to avert our attention to the Nigerians?

"We are unsure of her whereabouts because the military confiscated her mobile phones"
I imagine she is curled up under a desk in the fetal position - isn't doing this to a female in Thailand a clear violation of human rights?

If only this would happen in America where it is long overdue - those would be glory days.

This whole situation should clearly demonstrate why no government can ever work successfully anywhere, at any time.
Thailand need to return to rule by absolute monarchy - then there would be no "sides" to fight each other.
Then the rest of the world should follow suit.

Ah America, such a bastion of the right and the just!
Never in US history has a government ever funded despots in foreign lands and trained them and assisted them in overthrowing their current leadership - never!!

The step was taken to ensure the release of "accurate news to the people," an army spokesman said in a televised announcement.
Yes, because mainstream news is always the most unbiased and accurate.

"Six out of 10 young participants said they were glad they now knew how to deal with bullies on the Net, while eight out of 10 said they realised that posting people's pictures without their consent was illegal."
Kids say whatever they think an adult wants to hear - these kind of stats are garbage.
"eight out of 10 said they realised that posting people's pictures without their consent was illegal" - how funny, Facebook has made an industry out of that, don't see them getting shut down any time soon.
You know in Amsterdam kids walk past sex shops every day on the way to school with their parents and don't even bother to look twice at the oddities on display - the Dutch are some of the most sexually grown-up and mature people on the planet, unlike Americans and Brits that have a long history of shaming natural sexual urges.
What a load of tosh.

They should just have a street battle. This is what battles are for, resolving conflict through violence. It's worked for centuries.
And this way, with genuine hatred of one side towards the other is actually a very honest form of battle, unlike sending soldiers to fight wars in foreign lands that they have no personal aggression towards.
Might end this disagreement on leadership a lot quicker than all these tension filled rallies.

What Bangkok really needs. Bored!
Why can't protesters protest inside a shopping mall? Just like protest at the airport.
This one will be perfect.
Shelters + toilet + concert hall + car park, all in.
Because then they would REALLY lose supporters....

<deleted> is the "European Asean Business Centre"?
Yet more underhand global governance; laws passed into being in the dead of night without the populace of any of the countries involved knowing about it...

Now 66, he entered politics in 2011 as Pheu Thai's party-list MP .
Before that, as an executive for IBM Thailand, Niwattumrong began building ties with former PM Thaksin Shinawatra.Business as usual then........ Corruption at its finest.

Redshirt activists will not accept a guilty verdict, declared Anurat Thinnarat, the chairperson of northeastern Thailand’s chapter of the pro-government United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship
The irony.

Not yet a comment of quality tourist ?
Another quality tourist.

Never mind a 500 baht surcharge on entry to get "better tourists" - blacklist people like this from Thailand.
Simple.

"Do you know of any decent hotels, not priced for tourist"
Errr..................

We have allowed government too much power; if they spend this money, it is our money there are spending. They do not have their own money.
We look at them as if they are our masters and thank them when they decide to give us/buy us something - it is our money through multiple taxes that pay (or do not pay) for these things.
They need to have their power stripped from them.
They are our servants, not our masters.

"For now the cause of death is being blamed on miscommunication between Monchai and the helicopter crew."
God, even Thais can't communicate with each other, I thought it was a just a Thai/Falang problem.
Many times I would ask a Thai person, "How do you say this word in Thai?" they would tell me. Then I would use the word with another Thai and they would explain, "You never use that word that way in the Thai language" - I swear there are some major problems in communication.
This accident is why I would also never trust any dangerous sport in Thailand like rock-climbing or sky-diving - Hell No.

"Lawyers Equal Action claimed BBC could face million-pound damages"
From who? Millions of pounds for an off-colour joke? What BS.
Sounds more like a bunch of lawyers looking for a way to enrich themselves..... once again.

Same in China - remember that little girl slowly driven over by a truck in broad daylight and not a single person lent a helping hand? Different there though, they are worried about the government blaming them if the child dies.

Did an angry mob of Thais gather outside a popular Thai shopping mall to show their anger that a group could be sop heartless?
Oh wait, no........
