  1. I would make a stink about it. Finding a bin on the streets here can take an hour or more. I would say find me a bin within the next ten minutes, and I will pay the fine. Otherwise, leave me alone and go out and fight crime, you worthless piece of crap. I might even try walking away. At the very least, I would ask for documentation, paperwork, etc. Give them a very, very hard time. Do not let these cretons get away with this kind of abuse. Work them hard. Push them. Argue your head off. What are they gonna do anyway? Though I am generally against littering, it is up to the govt. or municipality to provide bins.

So you would stand there shouting at the police, then call him a worthless piece of crap. What would you do next? Find a cure for cancer or fly back to Krypton?
  2. Since the police can be bought so easy here I decided to look in to this myself If I find out this guy molested this child He can give his soul to god because his ass will be mine. I did learn way to extract the truth out of people while in Nam more than happy to apply that in this case. And can careless what happens to me after.

Before you do anything, maybe you should go and educate yourself. Another Vietnam veteran who can solve the problems of the world with 'things I learned in Nam', get a life.

  3. This is the same old story I continue to read and hear about. What is it about men who fall in love with a lady in a foreign country, get married and then discover that it is not all sweetness and light?

If only they would take their brains out of their crotch, learn the language and realize that your wife was a bar girl for a reason, she is not very educated.

Learn about where you are living.

If you men met a Thai lady back home, and she insisted that you only speak Thai and she never learned the local language, whether it be English, German or French, and she knew nothing about where she was living, how long do you think it would last?

And yet you do the same over here. How many of you living in the countryside of Thailand actually speak the language? not a lot I would imagine. How much about your wife or girlfriend do you know, apart from what you like her to do in the bedroom? Not a lot.

Men, it is your own fault you are in these problems

  4. Well, John Paul II did deserve it 100% IMHO (I'm not a Catholic, not even a Christian).

    But of-course Papa knows best.

As to 'procreation message' - the poster is slightly out of joint,

forgetting other instructions, like 'don't screw around' and the overall blanket rule about 'free will'.

    Just trying to be fair.coffee1.gif

John Paul II deserves it? For what?

Preventing millions of people dying from AIDS? Which he could have done if he allowed condom use.

Protecting children from child abuse? I don't think so!

Sitting in a palace, surrounded by sycophants with no clue what is really going on in the world and thinking he is god's representative on earth? Give me a break.

  5. This is what I have noticed. In the gym there are Thais and farangs, 50% of each. Try saying hello, good morning or anything else to a farang and most times you are ignored. And yet many will go out of their way to catch the eye of a Thai and smile at them, and say a few words in the local language.

This also happens in shops, trains, planes. Maybe farangs are rude to each other but are trying to ingratiate themselves with the locals.

  6. I have lived and worked in Pattaya for 13 years, and have never missed a Songkran. Last Saturday, and again today I, being 50 and considered an elder by the people I work with, had many younger people pour scented water over my hands and in return I sprinkled water over their heads and wished them good luck for the new year.

Once this was done then the water started to get thrown around, the white paste was applied to everyone's faces and, yes, someone did add ice to the water.

Get into Songkran, it is part of living here in 2014 and stop moaning about how it is not what it used to be, because not a lot is!

    Enjoy it.

  7. Setting a great example for children showing them how to squander a precious resource. They will in their lifetime see the day when there will be no precious water to throw. Only childhood memories. This tradition started out sparingly applying water to a persons face and shoulders followed by prayer. Today there is no prayer only the desire to drown a stranger. The big winners are the bars and lodging places.

Traditions change over time. Believe it or not Christmas was not always about giving PS2's to kids or chocolate rabbits at Easter.

There are still millions of people who will pay respects to elders by pouring water over their hands, but things move on.

    Just enjoy it.

  8. The body odour stay with the person who eats dog meat for several years, to test it get close to any dog and it will bark the person as it can smell.

Don't be so ridiculous. That would mean that I smell of chicken today, pig yesterday and tomorrow I will smell of tuna.

How ridiculous, never heard anything so stupid in all my life.

  9. The reason why Thailand has so many ATMs is the same reason why Thailand has so many bars and so many ladyboys: Taking advantage of the foreigner and finding ways to separate him from his money. Thailand ATMs have the highest fees in the world for foreigners. It's a huge money maker for the bank - charging you extremely high fees to access your OWN money!

Open a Thai bank account and stop moaning

  10. " I paid sin sot for my lovely wife and am the happiest man in the world. This

is a Thai custom, and if you want to be properly integrated into Thai culture

you must pay this. Anybody who would not consider paying is simply a

    cheapskate......."

No matter how much you pay and how much you think you are accepted into Thai society you are kidding yourself. Let's see what would happen if all your money run out. Would the community come to your aid, would your wife's relatives pay back all the money you have 'borrowed' them over the years? I doubt it.

  11. Warrior Bangkok, I suppose you are the spitting image of Brad Pitt, wear tailor made clothes, body like a male model and as rich as Bill Gates. How dare you give 'tips' to western women. Maybe they are here to work, unlike, I imagine, you who came here for sex and wear socks with your sandals.
