  1. Do you guys know where I can exchange Israel currency for Thai baht in Bangkok? I've been looking around but I don't think they can do it at the banks here. Any help would be appreciated.

  2. I have a bachelor degree in mass communication and just completed my diploma on education. so I used it for a 5 years licence , not the waiver because I still have a year left on my waiver.

Documents submitted: Bachelor degree certificate and TOR, Diploma certificate and its TOR, unopened letter from the university to Kurusapa, a letter from my workplace to Kurusapa stating the date I started working there and when my contract will expire, a copy of my contract, Thai culture course , copy of passport and work permit and the application form.

the lady checked it and the first letter from my workplace didn't have the date of my employment so she asked me to go back and get a new letter, I went back to school and returned to Kurusapa with a new letter after 30 minutes. the girl was satisfied then asked me to go and pay 500baht at counter 6, I got the receipt and she told me that they will send my license to my school.

  3. I read somewhere that these are the documents needed. please let me know if I missed anything because the site I got it from hasn't been updated for a while.

    4. Copy of work permit

    5. Letter from employer/ copy of contract

    6. Thai culture course

  4. I've been working here for 5 years and changed school twice already which means that I've received teacher's license waiver twice already. I just finished the diploma for education course and I'm thinking to go and apply for the 5 years license, although I still have 1 year left on my current waiver. Thanks for clarifying the thainess course. I was worried about that, thought it's something new because I just read about it last week.

  5. The rules are still -

    - being older than 20 years

    - degree in education or equivalent

    - Thai Language, Culture and Ethics course certificate

Thank you for replying. I know about those you mentioned above but I'm asking about the new thainess course. I read about it somewhere but I'm not sure if they will ask for it now when I apply
  6. we are planing to go to the immigration office tomorrow for my wife's Non-o extension of stay. I'm working here and she's going to be staying here on my visa. Last time we were there the required documents are as follow: Proof of marriage and my passport showing the extension of stay as well as normal TM.7/photo/fee/copies of her passport/departure card. My question is: Is the required documents still the same or is there something else I have to add? thanks in advance

  7. My 5 years old daughter just came to Thailand to live with me and I'm looking for a school for her but most of the schools I saw online are so expensive. We are looking for a bilingual school that is not more than 50k per semester and we live around ratchada area. any suggestion would be great.

  8. Sirchai, sorry for the late reply. I do it only on weekends but most of the time there's no classes to attend. you just have to go to the website of the school and do the assignments given for your course then attend the few face to face classes required. it's 27,500 per semester and you can pay little by little if you want but you get 10% discount if you pay full at once.
