I have lived the the USA most of my adult life, except when  serving my country and working overseas before retiring. I am only answering because took so much time to write you comments. The wake up is to see that the move to green energy too fast, is having unintended consequences, i.e. EU's dependence on Russia's energy. And mostly I do not want the nanny state which is much of the EU in the States. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
