Because that is the way I write emails and submit responses to this forum .. conversational rather that letter writing ... I say .. interesting to get a response to this style of submission ... ;-)

How does a guy end up driving a Porcsh in Thai ... limited fame went to his head .. thought he was a big player an was taken out ... play games. .. pay the ultimate price ..RIP now ....

Don't know about e-visa in Cambodia .. but here in Chong Chom .. about 1km from Cambodia border .. I have to stop using it as a visa run as I lose a page and a half (with Cambodia visa and Thai stamps etc.) every time ... got about 5 pages left of a 10 year passport issued Nov 2011 !! Same problem with Laos ....

Traveled with Nakhon Chai Air last week (great service ..) .. BKK to Surin .. wore seat beat all the way ..these days madness not to ... just hard braking could throw you out of your seat not to mention anything more serious .. and not just in Thai ...
Best coach I ever traveled on was in Estonia (daily scheduled service ..) - TV screen built into the back on every seat, wi-fi (never dropped out ..), plug-in for your device, toilet and free coffee .. and of course seat belts .. and if you are over 60 you get a discount ...
Still shocked over the Laos plane crash and the earthquake in Bohol/Cebu in the Philippines ... both places there earlier in the year ..

Sorry guys .. but went to Hua-Hin about six weeks ago .. and it will be the last time .. the beach is heavily polluted .. not to mention dead fish and rubbish washed up.
That and all those horses up and down the beach and it's the last place I want to be ...
Night life .. enjoyed a good band at Murphy's but the rest just endless girlie bars .. the place was dead. Also got to watch out for the very nasty Ladyboys .. saw a situation where they 'caught up' with a older guy demanding money and threatening him etc.
Personally I'll stay in Cha-Am any day of the week ..
Had been there before but thought it was worth a second look .... never ...

Battery, Battery, battery .... - not the only reason for consideration ..
Basically .. you get what you pay for and if you look after it [battery] ... charge it (and not overnight ...) and use it and not let it plugged it etc.
Laptops are all about performance, screen quality HD etc, screen size, weight, memory and hard drive or SSD .. solid state, with or without CD/DVD player etc.
Spend as much as you can .. there is no cheap good laptop ..
Last time I bought a ASUS Zenbook UX series ... OK Apple is superb but I don't want to be stuck with everything Apple ... iTunes, Apple's operating system etc.
[ASUS] Brilliant piece of kit .. 4GB memory, excellent HD screen, 128Gb SSD, super light, super slim, ..great for traveling etc.
If it was a car it probably done 100K KMs .. and used every day and still get 5/6 hours out of the battery ...subject to playing video which is a major drain on any battery ..
You make your choice and pay the price ... in this case 40,000 bt (£800)

Quick point ..
Guess you have to 'buy' a Laos visa when you cross over .. $30 or something similar??
and another 'PAIN' is a whole page of your passport gone .. with their one page visa / sticker ..
Is this correct?

Did a visa run at the Chong Chom crossing a few weeks back .. 1100bt for visa - and another page gone in my passport - stayed in the casino for about an hour and the 'thiefing lot' charged me another 300 bt to get out of Cambodia ... no charge back in Thailand.

Just for a bit of fun ..how bad or good can it be ..
Sister house in Ireland - 0.5 MB/s ... they should make Apple pay more corporation tax and pay to improve their infrastructure
South London ... only getting 5.2 MB/s ... need to change my provider
And to highlight how far we are behind some a recent visit to Taiwan / Taipei I clocked the internet at 29.5 MB/s
Nana / Soi 4 at 11.2 .. I think we'd all settle foe that ....
Happy surfing as long as you can get past Thai censorship !!!!

As well as the Russians, Indians and Chinese / Japanese .... A large helping of Middle Easterns / Arabs, Eastern Europeans and Koreans, the traditional Farang is serious been squeezed out ...

Good site I use is ... www.momondo.com .. it lets you select what ticket class you require ..
It will then display the price but also show you what days in the month that maybe cheaper...
Bottom line is if u want comfort it comes at a price ...
Just returned to the UK on an Emirates A380 .. very impressed ...

With these increases ... a 12 to 15% shortfall in currency exchange (British pound) in the last 6 months and inflation - possible another 5/6% .. is Thailand finally losing it's attractioness ....
Add dirty, polluted beaches ... Hua Hin for example ... maybe time to rethink ...

There is a saying when it comes to money ...
When is enough? ... Just a little bit more ...
Another case of not enough.... milk the 'cash cow' a bit more ...
