  1. maybe the minorities taste better than the majorities?

Indeed an increased variety of cuisine is about the only positive that has come out of uncontrolled culture enrichment.

what you mean with "uncontrolled culture enrichment"?

this is about the African-American or Latino minority. do you think they should be put under any kind of special culture control?

  2. I guess you just missed the sentence right after the ones I quoted in first paragraph that state:

"Among foreigners suspected of offences, those from North Africa and Western Asia were overrepresented."

This is directly from a report by Crime and Prevention and not some wiki racist editor conspiring to defame any one. Follow the citations and see where it takes you if you think wiki is wrong.

The point is, you criticize and condemn, but you never ever offer anything to back up your criticism and condemnation.

Why are you so afraid to acknowledge a terrible immigration problem experienced by Sweden or any country for that matter?

That wiki entry does not back up your muslims-rape-innocent-blonde-swedish-girls stories.

Yes, i condemn racism. do i have to back it up or justify my opinion any further to explain why i condemn racism? Don't you understand whats wrong with racism and those blogs full of hate you linked to?

  3. your sources are hate-blogs. nothing more.

Perhaps and I don't know what a hate-blog is because I don't read hate blogs. I just Googled when Simple1 asked for a source about immigrants from violent countries have a tendency to bring violence to new countries.

If those statistics are wrong, then cite statistics from a love-blog or harmony-blog.

The rape and abuse of women problem plaguing Sweden is pretty well documented though and so is the article about statistics on youthful offenders in the UK:

    http://m.huffpost.com/uk/entry/2255271

    Is Huffington Post racist?

A study by The National Counsel on Crime and Prevention regarding Sweden states:

"In the study, immigrants were found to be four times more likely to be investigated for lethal violence and robbery than ethnic Swedes. In addition, immigrants were three times more likely to be investigated for violent assault, and five times more likely to be investigated for sex crimes."

"The report is based on statistics for those "suspected" of offences, but Stina Holmberg of the Council for Crime Prevention said that there was "little difference" in the statistics for those suspected of crimes and those actually convicted."

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_and_crime

the links you posted in your long entry lead to racists blogs.

hoffpost says nothing about your rape statistics.

the wikipedia entry everybody can edit says nothing about Muslims.

  4. I hate spending holidays in Thailand during this period .... I dont like when the hotels or resorts impose to take their pretended GALA DINNER , if you refuse you still have to pay for it ..... But just wonder how much money this extra day off will cost to the country ??

never understood the point of this GALA DINNER. (beside making extra money)

    No one does!

I work in the "industry" myself!

It is a pain in the @$$ for us, the customers ...but the hotels get their money!

We are selling one hotel in Khao Lak, where the "Gala Dinner" is more expensive than the room rate!

Others ask for up to 9.000++ Baht.

    Insanity in its purest form!

    you are in what industry?

if you are able to sell your product during the holiday seasons at a higher price you do it.

not to do it would it be insane, business wise.

  5. JFK had America behind him. Somebody didn't like it.

I'm not drawing comparison between Democrat Kennedy and Democrat Obama.

Just saying the US needs to be strong and unified. Like Liverpool with Shankly and United with Ferguson, to use a football analogy Stevie.

you're right of course but it's never going to happen while those that hold the power in the GOP continue to live in a world from a hundred years or more ago. they're fundamentalists who can't deal with the fact that the world has changed and humanity has evolved and moved on - while their beliefs remain anchored to the bible and the constitution - two staggeringly outdated documents - they won't evolve themselves. and the country as a whole, which democratically (and emphatically) elected this current administration, will continue to suffer and he held to ransom by a minority of maniacs. it's tragic to see and has massive implications for the world as a whole if they keep this insanity up.

    I agree.

I think it isn't outdated and a thing of yesterday that the power of the president is limited by other forces like the Republican senators who are also elected by the people.

This actually a great system America has and should not be written off.

  6. Obviously the US is far preferable to the PRC for all the obvious reasons but sadly China is the classic pachyderm in the room and is now too important (at the very least economically!) to be overlooked and its sudden demise would create one heck of a mess for the rest of us to clean up and deal with.

I don't see these obvious reasons why the US should be far more preferable, but true it is a fact that China is there and that cannot talked away with some anti-Chinese propaganda and sinophobe posts.

  7. So, Baloo22, did you have anything of substance to post, like maybe something about those thousands and thousands of people who are furloughed because of your party's nonsense? Perhaps some pictures of the babies not getting milk formula?

Instead, you chose to post pictures of people who can afford to visit parks and monuments. What are they doing for their country, besides destroying it? I see them moving lawfully set barricades, but I don't see one of them with a broom or a mop cleaning up anything.

The Republicans in general, and the Tea Party in particular, are America's very own equivalent version of a jihadi terrorist organization. They are doing exactly what Al Qaeda wanted to do. And they love to accuse the President of being a Muslim sympathizer.

I don't think they want destroy America, they just don't want a big powerful government.

And they clean up, i read about a guy how moans the lawn at the Lincoln monument and collect trash and foliage there, voluntary and illegal.

  8. So; the next time the Iranians sent a team of bomb-makers to Bangkok, they will do it in the spirit of cooperation with Thailand! shock1.gif

After all, nothing says "greater cooperation between Thai and Iranian police" than sending bomb-makers into Thailand's capital city to; 1-Blow up their rented apartment, 2-Throw bombs/grenades at taxis, and 3-Throw bombs/grenades at Bangkok police. A new "Hallmark" moment! angry.png

Will the cooperation extend to sending the escaped bombers back to Thailand or is this just diplomatic 'lip service'? Both countries are short of quality friends in the World community.

What are "quality friends in the world community"?

  9. Make sure they send the religious police over to learn a thing or two. I'm sure the Thais can explain why they don't publicly hang gay people, ladyboys, drug dealers, or anyone for that matter.

If you feel you were born in the wrong body you can financial help from the Iran state for sex change treatment. birth certificate, passports will be also issued stating the new sex.

  10. why is it misleading?

Good to hear that the liberals are against that war and don't buying the lies the leaders told them.

Calling that group liberals is misleading. They are left of liberal. Mainstream liberals I am sure are going to support Obama on this.

They are liberals in my book. warmongers are not.

    Don't confuse liberalism with socialism.

  11. Liberals reject Obama's case for Syria strikes; believe Obama and Kerry are lying

President Obamas liberal activist base is adamantly opposed to military strikes in Syria, according to a new survey the Progressive Change Campaign Committee released Wednesday.

PCCC says more than 57,000 of its activists weighed in, and 73 percent of them opposed the U.S. taking action in Syria. Just 18 percent supported strikes, and just 14 percent said the U.S. should go ahead unilaterally if it cant find any allies

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2013/sep/4/liberals-reject-obamas-case-syria-strikes-believe-

That's misleading. You're talking about democrats who are more left wing than Obama. That doesn't include most elected democrats.

    why is it misleading?

Good to hear that the liberals are against that war and don't buying the lies the leaders told them.

being against wars of aggression - that is a true liberal spirit and not that left leaning and socialist tendencies the "liberals" somewhat falsely get identified with.

  12. Report: Assad Moves Weapons Underground as U.S. Strike Looms

    SEPTEMBER 4, 2013

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has begun to move his arsenal of advanced weapons underground in preparation for a possible strike on the country by the United States, Israels Channel 10 reported on Wednesday.

    http://www.algemeiner.com/2013/09/04/report-assad-moves-weapons-underground-as-u-s-strike-looms/

Maybe he hasn't heard about the US's latest bunker buster bomb.

    June 7 2013

"Last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Washington had upgraded its bunker buster bomb.

The state of the art GBU-57 B bomb, known as the Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), is 30,000 pounds (13,608 kg.) and has recently been upgraded with adjusted fuses to maximize its burrowing power, upgraded guidance systems to improve its precision and hi-tech equipment intended to allow it to evade Iranian air defenses in order to reach and destroy the Fordow nuclear enrichment complex, according to the Journal.

Each MOP bomb costs $3.5 million to manufacture and its development cost half a billion dollars, according to Yediot.

    Link

As the article says, those bombs are developed and build for an attack on Iran. Syria probably hasn't the kind of bunker. Or are you suggesting to US looking for a reason to test them?

  13. Didn't you catch the latest ... obama said he didn't paint a red line ... the world did - or humanity did or somebody did... but he didn't ... hahahahahahahahha - the man is amazing ...

Yes, it really is beyond belief to be honest. The thing that struck me was the expression on his face when he said it. It looked uncannily like the expression on President Clinton's face when he said, "I Did Not Have Sex With That Woman"! About as credible too.

Assad is a tyrant dictator who has been mass slaughtering the people of Syria for more than two years now so that he and his small corrupt and cruel gang of oligarchs can retain power and control the wealth of the country. Assad is a mass murderer, a merciless tyrant.

Putin supports Assad. Putin is the guy the European Court on Human Rights found guilty of human rights violations of civilians in Chechnya and who murders opponents in his own country..

We're talking about two peas in a pod, two tyrants who are presidents for life. For life.

    Brutal mass murderers.

Putin: Russia doesn't defend Assad, we defend international law

They lie, plainly. I watched the Congressional debate. A congressman asked Mr. Kerry: Is there any Al-Qaeda [in Syria]? There are reports they have been growing stronger. He [Kerry] replied: No. I say with all responsibility: there is no [Al-Qaeda] there, Putin explained.

The Russian President then said the Al-Nusra Front terrorist organization, which pledged allegiance to Al-Qaeda, has been at the forefront of the rebel groups fighting Assads forces, and that the US is well aware of that.

Well, he [Kerry] lies. And he knows that he lies. This is sad, Putin remarked.

    http://rt.com/news/putin-syria-interview-ap-387/

  14. Putin is playing US hard. Him saying lets wait for more evidence and Russia may back just buys him time to finish shipping S-300 anti aircraft or anti-missile systems into Syria. Putin will never find conclusive evidence absent Assad publicly saying he did it.

Russia has intelligence in Syria and I would imagine that if rebels did it, we would be seeing much Russian intelligence confirming the same.

A recent report asserts that the shipping of the S-300 missile systems, that were expected to be delivered by July 2014, have been delayed until 2015-2016 because Damascus has failed to provide payment for them. Plus a shipment of twelve MiG-29M/M2 jets ordered in 2007, six of which were due to be delivered to Syria by the end of the year, will not be supplied before 2016-2017 because Damascus has only paid Moscow 30 percent of the agreed sum for the jets.

Russia sends missile cruiser to Eastern Mediterranean, expected to arrive in ten days

    http://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Russia-sends-missile-cruiser-to-Mediterranean-325280

I thought I read something like this earlier when in Russia.

So Putin says the S-300s were paid for in June, but would not send because of balancing power. Now he says not paid for. Uhm, okay!

    -----

Throughout the conflict Russia continued to "fulfill existing contracts" for "defensive" weapons like air and coastal defense systems, but it has stopped at shipping the advanced S-300 air defense system, which Syria had already purchased.

Putin himself said in June that Russia would not send Assad the S-300 because "we don't want to throw the region off-balance."

    http://www.eastidahonews.com/2013/08/how-russia-might-respond-to-an-american-strike-in-syria/

What wrong with defensive weapons? Nothing.

Those S-300 are some excellent tools.

  15. Furthermore, The New York Times reports that Obama told senators "the first 50-man cell of fighters, who have been trained by the C.I.A., was beginning to sneak into Syria."

Lastly, something must be done to stem the flow of money to dominant jihadist groups, which Weiss calls "a scandal, but an easily remedied one."

    Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/the-us-strategy-in-syria-2013-9#ixzz2dwEUEuTx

So it is now official that those "rebels" who fight in Syria are CIA trained and send by the US?
