I like Vietnam, but don't like visa runs. In Vietnam I would have to do a visa run every 90 days. In Thailand, with retirement visa extensions, I've never done a visa run in 12 years. If Vietnam had a long term visa, I would consider it. They talk about it, but nothing yet. -
The only two Amorn shops that are still open are the Hang Dong shop and the shop at the Tuk plaza on the northside of the moat. The shops at the Lotus across from Meechoke Plaza and the Big C on the Superhighway are now gone.

That's interesting. I used my PayPal account (I've had for over 20 years) to make an eBay purchase today - Oct. 13th. I also opened a Thai PayPal account last month, but today I used my US account. No Thai ID was requested to open the Thai account. i
