Yes, what is the present situation at Sadao regarding the same day return?

Hi! What are the steps for 30 days extension of stay these days in Bangkok? Appointment booking, tm30 needed? Location Laksi IT-mall? What about in Hat Yai? Same? Doable? I have to ask here as the internet seems broken with so many conflicting and incomplete advice. I haven't been to Thailand for years and the last time (stayed for about ten years), I was always on NON-IMM visas and just did border runs if got bored. Now I'm going for a 39 day holiday and wish to keep the hours doing the extension minimal. I was planning for a border run to Sadao but prefer the resort on the Thai side and will not stay a night in Malaysia so will probably just have to take care of the extension in BKK. Any advice? Thanks!
