  1. @Manarak; It won't do anything to try to sue a Thai in Thailand; I tried that. First you have a Thai Lawyer sueing a Thai in Thai court. Forget about it and move on. I had to walk away after a loss of 12k USD. There is even a Thai Consumer law, but try to make it work for an American. Not happening my friend.

  2. I have been to the Tiger Temple and also the Tiger Kingdom in Chiang Mai, and the Tigers drugged? They are at the Tiger Temple, I don't think so at the Tiger Kingdom. And almost everyone commenting here seems to think that it is for the tourist dollar, ofcourse it is. Just like everything else in Thailand. It's all about money. So what if the Monks had a few bears there. All the tigers I have seen in Thailand have been well taken care of, including the ones I've seen in both the places I been as mentioned above. I think Thailand tourest will be the next endangered species, because tourest are finding better places to go. Just saying.

  3. Why can't the American people forget either of the Demo's and Rep's and try something that might actually be good for the country? Havn't we had enough of the Bushs and Clintons? How about the Tea Party ? Ryan Paul-Ted Cruz, both would be better the Hillary, or Bush. Ofcourse, both of those idoits ( Clinton and Bush) are connected with the Builderburg Group, so it will be business as usual. For those of you that don't know about the Builderberg Group, or Agenda 21,or the End Game. Look them up.

  4. I would like someone to tell me the best thing to do: I bought a Steed from a guy in Pattiya that was moving back to the UK and I left Thailand to work in Indonesia before I registered it in my name, now the license has expired, so while in Chaing Mai a few weeks ago I went to register it and get new license, they said no can do, you need to get a copy of his Visa and we need to see your Visa too. Which I don't have anymore. What is the best way to take care of this problem, I would like to export the bike to the Philippines, but don't know if I can. I have a signed Green Book from him.

  5. I have another problem, i bought a Honda Steed from a guy that was going back to the UK. I have a signed Greenbook,he lived in Pattyia and I lived in CM. I went to work in Indonesia so am no longer a resident in Thailand, and I didn't have time to register the bike, so while in Chiang Mai a few weeks ago I went to get it registered and they said , to bad your not a resident here anymore and we need a copy of the owners Visa and yours before we can reg. and license the Bike. So now what can I do?

  6. After reading all these questions and answers, Does this mean that you all don't trust the Thai Police? Well this is the Land of Smiles, everything is just fine is Thailand, no problems, come to Thailand to live or Vacation. It's great. Never any problems. And Thai people never kill, scam, or steal. So please come and spend your money here, your very safe. Just saying.

  7. If you looking to buy a house , own a business, not having to have a work permit and make visa runs every 90 days then check out Malaysia. Don't go to Thailand unless you don't want to own a house, don't want a business, don't want land, and don't mind getting a work permit to even write a book, etc. Unless ofcourse your married to a Thai, and then you still won't own anything, he/she will.

  8. I had alot of work done at Bangkok Dential Clinic, They are very good and have a lab there and make their own crowns and dentures, I had to have my dentures relined and was in the States when I had that done and the Dentist in the States said that the work they had done on my teeth in Bangkok was very good.If the name of this clinic gets deleted message me and I will tell you the place and the Dr. to see.

  9. @ Keesters. For almost a week now, you have gone on about the noise of Harleys. No one cares what you think. Let people that want to ride Harleys ride them the way they are suppose to ride, and no other motorcycle company can copy the sound Harleys make, and all have tried. Including Honda, and they all try to copy Harleys shape and image. So get on with yourself and your 175CC rice grinder, I for one don't care what you ride or how much or how little noise it makes. I am beginning to think your a troll so move on with another topic for another week.

  10. I guess I should of also added in my earlier post ,not only 1 million people die on a motorbike a year in Thailand, but if you put a pencil to that number its 2793 per day on average. I still say that should be the #1 most deaths in Thailand. Very sad. It's not about motorcycles, its about how they ride them and the careless way automobile drivers not looking where they are going.

  11. It would depend on what the person was looking to do here, if they wanted to start a business, buy a house, take a chance on civil unrest, buy a Harley at a decent price, work in your garden with out being bit by a snake and I could come up with a lot more, then I would say no, if the person came here for Cheap rent, good food, scenery, Cheap Medical, beautiful women then I would say yes.

  12. I live in Chiang Mai too, everything I get, can be done on-line, I email all my tax info to my accountant in the States, my bank is in the states, nobody sends me any mail, its all done on the computer, the only problem I see is with your condo, like many have said rent it out, but good renters are hard to find, my step daughter broke me of renting to family. So if you can't find someone you can trust, just leave it vacant.
