I want to explore the possibilities of importing my car from the US. I am looking for a contact merely in Thailand that can walk me through the process.

Before you comment about how it's not worth doing it or it's too much of a headache...thank you, I have heard/read this on many forums etc... I know.

Just wondering where/who to contact so as I don't explore this alone.

I have found a good deal, not too good to be true though. However I would like to take the proper precautions, so I do not become the victim of the next craigslist type scam and have my money taken and ran with.

Is there a way to find the actual condo owners name so I can verify such? If this was an apartment I assume it would be easier since the management company would be in the same building, but I figure condos could possibly be a bit riskier in this aspect.

And advice is appreciated, I am brand new to this.

That is a crazy story.......

First the movie....what would happen if the Iran makes a movie that advertise the assassination of Obama......The whole west would be in rage.....With NK it is seems to be OK.

I was married happily for 3 years to my ex-wife, and we communicated great! Honestly! IT was super easy, we were great together, only occasionally fought. One day she wants a divorce, I couldn't figure it out until I tracked her mobile phone and found her at her boyfriends house.

My best friend just started his divorce. Had a great marriage for a year, his wife gets pregnant and immediately changes. He goes through 2 years of living hell without sex at all. She finally divorces him, he has no idea what happened. No he is finally able to start living a happy life thankfully.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

What happens of the situation makes the tourist overstay? The airlines advances the money for overstay fees or is it waived?

A few months back I was on a flight that was delayed to BKK. I called customer service and explained the situation of making me late for an appointment I had the day I was to arrive in BKK. They immediately booked me another flight on Thai airways. What's to stop the airline from doing the same? I would think it may even be cheaper than sending them on free tours and covering hotel costs.

I thought I remember reading about the border guard in Hua Hin a couple days ago stating that it was originally a 2,000 baht fine if you didn't have your passport with you?

I am willing to go without my passport for a 2,000 baht fine, but 20,00 baht??! Dang...that makes me want to carry it always, but I also worry about the safety of carrying my only identification with me at all times that is able to get me back to the US! What if it's stolen and I can't get through immigration and then I'm charged with overstaying? I know it's supposed to be more than 90 days when it becomes an issue, but this is something that could legitimately happen to someone.

Where can we confirm that a copy of the passport is ok to carry? What about a picture of it in a smartphone?

I was a web developer for a few years. My best advice is to hire someone or look for an out of box method. If you try to build/implement/customize a web platform yourself you will be frustrated. A developer will know how and what to do.

Search for outsourcing to India or the Philippines. It is affordable and they know what they are doing. Make sure to see examples of work they have done before, avoid scammers or over eager amateurs this way.

Wow, so why was she released to the US embassy? I mean it's great that the US was able to step in, and now Italy is playing a part in this. Is she being granted asylum in Italy?

My girlfriend, who is Thai, has been diagnosed with intestinal cancer. Extremely shocking news, but I am trying to move fast as this is first stage at the moment.

I was wondering what options, doctors, treatment centers, and medical and healing options anyone knows about in Thailand or neighboring countries, or also outside of Thailand.

I am American, I want to help her to seek treatment where the best doctors and options are. Money and cost are not an obstacle, I just need advice on how/where/who to use to deal with this.

A friend of mine was debating doing this very thing from the USA. He decided to buy gold and sell it in Thailand. I'm not sure how much you would lose doing this, but if you check it may be worth it. I know nothing about it, just putting the idea out there.

Would appreciate some advice for someone who has done this before and could speak from some experience please.

I would like my girlfriend to visit myself and my family in the USA. I have spoken with several companies that provide assistant, siam-legal.com etc.... I have been advised my girlfriend should not have a hard time obtaining a tourist visa because of her credentials and assets. I was told the fiancé visa will most likely work also, but can take 6 months longer or more...

My girlfriend has a home in her name(completely paid for to the bank), a business loan for a suit shop that is in her name, car in her name(was just stolen and insurance paid off the loan), and also a large sum of money in her bank account(if she needs more, her parents can easily transfer whatever amount she would temporarily for her). Also, her mom this last year went to USA to visit a friend, while using a tourist visa. My girlfriend also has spent 3 months before in Switzerland, and has traveled to Korea and Vietnam before also.

Our relationship can be proven to have been going on for a year with pictures, text, SMS, emails etc...I have visited her 5 times over the last year.

Would appreciate very much some advice! Thanks everyone in advance!
