  1. Ubonjoe,

I have always kept within the 30 day limit on Visa Exempt, and never back to back. However. last week I was refused entry at Don Mueang by a female officer for having in her opinion too many Thai stamps in my passport. I argued and she called over a male superior, who was clearly embarrassed but felt he had to back her up, and asked me to get an extension next time !! Of what?

Clearly she was wanting to implement a rule that has never been enacted, but she felt she had the power to introduce it unilaterally!

  2. True! We are in danger of falling foul of a sugar epidemic and thus Diabetes Type 2. To cut out sugar altogether is extremely difficult, and remember that even some fruits have a high sugar content. Fructose used to be acceptable at one time, but now it too is linked to sucrose and should be avoided or taken in minimal quantities. Recent research claims that fruit juices contain 4x as much sugar as the fruit itself, so there is another myth exploded !

  3. Few people carry a balance of £5000 in a current account in the U.K. but could have a valuable property which clearly would not count or be taken into consideration?

It appears that Australians are not being subjected to any financial declarations? Why are the British being penalized yet again? What employer is going to issue a document

stating that he is happy for a member of staff to be away in Thailand for 6 months? Who thinks this stuff up???
