I tried that, and when I tried to pay my registration I first had to pay the outstanding ticket at the Pattaya police station. They have your rego number.
Yep it really is a thing although many posting in this thread say otherwise.
Person whom purchased my old car for what ever reasons did not transfer the book to his name so the speeding tickets still came to my address, he called me a while back saying he could not pay the road tax due to outstanding fines.... he was <deleted> when I told him there has been a few arrive but I threw them in the bin.
Not sure how he got it sorted but never heard from him again and there has been no speeding tickets since.

I have posted reviews of a couple, of cheap hotels in Sukhumvit Soi headlining them as 'Fire risk death trap' together with statement of why they are death traps like no alarm systems, flammable wooden stairs as the only exit and fire extinguishers out of date by 15 years or more. (It was New Year and the only ones with free rooms)
Does that expose me to 5 years jail next time I visit?
Did you post them whilst still in Thailand ?

There is one sure fire way to stop you needing to pass anything.
Weld it shut.
Superglue as I earlier mentioned.
After about a week of swamp butt the glue will loosen and eventually release.

This guy was correct to post negative reviews despite his childishness.
His grievance was the cover charge, the same charge the manage waived....
Definitely justifies his online attacks (they were not reviews) of this hotel yeah ?

A buttplug and super glue should do the trick.

Once they stopped us (my gf & me) for speeding that placed some Kms earlier.
they took her license and told her to go to Police container station, pay and pick up your license. The station was a few Km after the stop point. We went there and she paid 500 and got her license back. I saw 3 officers behind PCs. Not sure but possible that they checked her record for previous violation as well.did they give her a receipt ?

After invading someones personal space and attempting to burn their hand do you think they should give you a cuddle and offer to buy a beer after work ?

Pattaya has actually been very very nice over the past few months so don't put much stock into a group of angry old men yelling at clouds.

Offer them a cup of hot tea/coffee, stir it for them and put the hot spoon onthe back of their hand when they're not looking. 99.99% of the time the reaction will be native tongue.
You could tell my nationality from a punch to the face ?

In Pattaya it seems most of the drivers stopped at roadside checks are foreigners, so it seems maybe the new chief is trying to cutdown on corruption and post pay day roadside checks wherein foreigners pay on site or are sent in mass to the station to pay tickets alongside 200 other foreigners cited for any infraction the officer could find.
In Pattaya most check stops the police wave me through..... I certainly don't look Thai.
Do you get stopped often ?

Thought you said only on old rides....????
Yes, recommenced for old rides some even mention it in the owners hand book.
modern technology and modern oils it is not as critical, thats why its not mentioned in the owners manual..... well not my Ranger one anyways and neither the Nissan pickup I just sold and from what Kwaksaki mentioned most likely not the Izuzu one either.

I don't know if its mentioned in my Isuzu manual either, It's just something recommended by diesel turbo engineers as it keeps the turbo in a better longer life condition.
Its not just turbo diesels but all oil cooled turbo's and the reason to do it is to keep the oil flowing as the turbo cools down otherwise that bit of oil in the hot turbo can get cooked which is not good for the lifespan of the oil and also the possibility it can then damage the turbo.

slaps the freedom of speech that we are appreicate in the face.
On another point I read that this hotel is a small run one, I would be asking how they have coped with Covid and the lack of customers, but still employ foreigners with big salaries!!! Either a very rich owner or need the money so going after those who give them bad reviews
The name escapes me but allegedly the owner of the resort rubs shoulders with Dhanin Chearavanont, the CEO of CP Group.

Think I would rather check my handbook before making assumptions...????
As should every owner.
My manual does not instruct me to idle the vehicle after a high speed run but I do.

So its going to go from Phase 3 trials to the pharmacy shelves in 3 months ?
What could possibly go wrong !!

After 8 years and 200,000km with no problems, I shall not bother. Thanks for the info.
Whilst I do let mine idle for a few minutes after a high speed run down the motorway (force of habit owning turbo cars over the past 20 years) it really is not needed on modern day diesels.

You fit a turbo timer.
