The ones that irk me are the posters that rely on The Nation for their political information.
They claim the foreign press does not understand Thailand.....
These people would make great citizens in North Korea.

Thailand.
You can grow old but your girlfriends don't.

You should have helped her and transfered her entire balance to your account.

Time after time, the Democrats lose the elections, claim vote buying, then turn to mob rule.
Why don't they insist international election observers oversee the elections?
Are fair elections possible with proper supervision I wonder?

Did you know there are countries that encourage foreigner participation...by giving the foreigner 50% off the regular price in such venues...
This country shows it's true colors in such instances...Pattaya Park is another example...charges foreigner twice the price...
This line of thinking will come back to bite this country in the butt one day...
"Did you know there are countries that encourage foreigner participation...by giving the foreigner 50% off the regular price in such venues..."
Never heard of any - please excuse me for my ignorance.
Can you please mention the names of those countries and for what they give these discounts for foreigners.
The Euro Rail pass I used was discounted for visitors. Locals couldn't buy it.
You see, being nice to visitors sometimes works.

Why don't you take a flying <deleted> at a rolling doughnut? Why don't you take a flying <deleted> at the mooooooooooooon? That's what I would tell her.
The truck driver smashed her bike, tried to give her 2,000bt and a promise for the balance even though she screwed him on the repairs.... She refused the money and is now going to the cops to sue you, a long term customer?

Someone that doesn't know Pattaya Soi 6?

I target the short, petite ladies. Less chance they are packing a penis.

Police crackdown today I imagine.
That's what they hope for. Get a bunch of people killed will help their cause.
Yingluck not taking the bait, letting the sore losers run rampant.

A Fino or Scoopy can fit inside the lift?
Another idea is to establish a relationship with a rental outfit. Maybe they can deliver and pickup a scooter to your condo when you are in town?

Ruined the ticket sellers day. Lost a chance to scam another farang.
Probably satisfying to see the disappointed kid walk away though.

I didn't read in the Thai news about the audit and the missing 200 million baht.

Ok. It's a whorehouse with a dolphin show.Cannot see anything wrong up till about 9pm but after that they should be home. And I would be more worried about the examples of the drunk foreigners than I would about the presence of working girls.
Yes, me too.
I do visit Pattaya with the kids, but we don't visit any nightlife areas.
It's funny because when we get back home the kids tell everyone about the great time they had at the beaches, dolphin shows and other stuff in Pattaya. This puzzles less clued in Farang people (i.e. most of them) who think Pattaya is only one big whorehouse.
UncleJ ... I'm yet to find and issue upon which you and I fundamentally agree (he also tips the BahtBus driver) ... though, I'm sure one day ... it will happen.
Let me try harder to finds points of commonality.
EDIT ...
Oh, I've just seen that your a Scooter rider ... that's a start ... I like bikes ...
.
So I can't count on your vote for poster of the year?

My friend had a restaurant and had the required music license too. Trouble was, a staff teamed up with the music police scammers and had an illegal music CD playing when the as*holes showed up. Busted.
...and the staff resigned the next day... with a tidy sum no doubt.
Scam scam scam. Thailand.

You will need the lease agreement to get TV, Internet etc.
If it's in her name you will need her cooperation in the future.

Cantankerous? I don't think he is cantankerous. Annoying, yes.

As late as yesterday I was in the biggest Thai bike shop in Pattaya (South Pattaya road/3rd road) and they have over 10 pcx's and 1 sh150 (I think, wasn't looking too hard, he-he) on display which gives you a good idea of which bikes they sell.
Always assuming of course that the other 9 SH 150's hadn't been sold already.
Honda didn't build the SH to compete with their PCX. They are going after the Vespa buyers with the SH.
It would be better to compare the sales of the Honda SH150 against the similar priced, Vespa, no?

The Mayor has failed again. Can't even get his staff to keep the beach clean.
Today, there is trash all over the footpath and beach.
Everywhere you look.... garbage...and the same lowlife scammers too.

JT is correct not informing the police. They are scum.

The Pattaya bahtbus (when running a set route) is a bus. Pure and simple. Tipping doesn't come into it.
So I'm curious as to whether you (or anyone else) pay double the standard bus fare in your home town and, if so, why? I certainly don't nor do I see any reason to.
I consider them taxies and tip when they take me a long distance, don't drive like morons. (not often)
Seriously ... tipping BahtBus drivers ...
.
Jomtien to Central Festival.
If I don't have a 10bt coin, I toss the guy a 20 sometimes.
Let's not forget. Some of them are damn near human.

Can someone advise if I want to open a small bar and would like to play a music from you tube service Do I need to get a license for that? Also If I run some Internet TV channel and they might be playing some music - Do I also need a license? Also I heard there is a special license if I want to play music late at night ( somewhere after 10P.M.)
You want to open a business after reading this?
The music police are just the beginning of your troubles.

Taxies, I tip.
Subways are automated.. so no I don't tip Subways.
Cable cars. Haven't been in a cable car lately.
Pilots, I don't tip.

One day there was a guy practicing parachuting when it failed to open. He was hurtling to earth when he spots a man flying up towards him.
He yelled out to the man, hey do you know anything about parachutes?!!
The guy says no! Do you know anything about turbo chargers?!!
