  1. Why don't you take a flying <deleted> at a rolling doughnut? Why don't you take a flying <deleted> at the mooooooooooooon? That's what I would tell her.

The truck driver smashed her bike, tried to give her 2,000bt and a promise for the balance even though she screwed him on the repairs.... She refused the money and is now going to the cops to sue you, a long term customer?

  2. Cannot see anything wrong up till about 9pm but after that they should be home. And I would be more worried about the examples of the drunk foreigners than I would about the presence of working girls.

    Yes, me too.

I do visit Pattaya with the kids, but we don't visit any nightlife areas.

It's funny because when we get back home the kids tell everyone about the great time they had at the beaches, dolphin shows and other stuff in Pattaya. This puzzles less clued in Farang people (i.e. most of them) who think Pattaya is only one big whorehouse. wink.png

Ok. It's a whorehouse with a dolphin show.

UncleJ ... I'm yet to find and issue upon which you and I fundamentally agree (he also tips the BahtBus driver) ... though, I'm sure one day ... it will happen.

Let me try harder to finds points of commonality.

    EDIT ...

    Oh, I've just seen that your a Scooter rider ... that's a start ... I like bikes ... wink.png

    .

So I can't count on your vote for poster of the year?

  4. As late as yesterday I was in the biggest Thai bike shop in Pattaya (South Pattaya road/3rd road) and they have over 10 pcx's and 1 sh150 (I think, wasn't looking too hard, he-he) on display which gives you a good idea of which bikes they sell.

Always assuming of course that the other 9 SH 150's hadn't been sold already.whistling.gif

Honda didn't build the SH to compete with their PCX. They are going after the Vespa buyers with the SH.

It would be better to compare the sales of the Honda SH150 against the similar priced, Vespa, no?

  5. The Pattaya bahtbus (when running a set route) is a bus. Pure and simple. Tipping doesn't come into it.

So I'm curious as to whether you (or anyone else) pay double the standard bus fare in your home town and, if so, why? I certainly don't nor do I see any reason to.

I consider them taxies and tip when they take me a long distance, don't drive like morons. (not often)

    Seriously ... tipping BahtBus drivers ... facepalm.gif

    .

    Jomtien to Central Festival.

    If I don't have a 10bt coin, I toss the guy a 20 sometimes.

Let's not forget. Some of them are damn near human.

  6. Can someone advise if I want to open a small bar and would like to play a music from you tube service Do I need to get a license for that? Also If I run some Internet TV channel and they might be playing some music - Do I also need a license? Also I heard there is a special license if I want to play music late at night ( somewhere after 10P.M.)

You want to open a business after reading this?

The music police are just the beginning of your troubles.

  7. Taxies, I tip.

Subways are automated.. so no I don't tip Subways.

Cable cars. Haven't been in a cable car lately.

    Pilots, I don't tip.
