Why do you say the online version doesn't show it? It's there everyday now via the link I posted. That was why I said it will only be valid today, because tomorrow it will show Thursday's cartoon.

Yes, I meant it's not there for reference/catch up. You are correct.

Loosely related is the cartoon in Today's Nation. The cartoonist (Steph?) has captured a lot of relevance with all the dials, etc in the background. I thought it's a very observant cartoon.

    Here's the link:  http://www.nationmultimedia.com/cartoon

although it will only be valid for today.

I hope I don't into trouble for this, but I'm going to include the image as well. I suppose any mod could just delete the image if I have transgressed any rule.

Indeed. Slightly OT, but I wish Thai Visa and The Nation would post the cartoon each day. Often, I don't have access to the print copy and the online version doesn't show it. Steph hits the mark about 80%.

We just flew them and it's a nice airline.  24 hours in Doha could be interesting!

Yes, agree, nice airline. I used them a lot ex Cairo but that has stopped because of the ban. I think I was on the last Qatar flight into Cairo the day relations were cut.

These flights book in "R" class ( a business restricted) but still earn the full whack on most One World programs .

Ive never seen fares this cheap.

  4. Super cheap deals on Qatar now ex HCMC, including business fares to the US for around $1000 return. Also cheap flights to J'Burg business (rarely seen and someone was asking about it). Valid until Dec, wide availability, unheard of cheap...won't last long. Google flights search will show the options.

I'm booked up already and a bit pissed that this has come without warning. But good if you can go and don't mind 24 hours in Doha ( and departing from, returning toHCMC).

    Bargain.

Crazy thing about it s that it was most likely Aussie tuna in the first place. Is Thailand famous for their tuna industry? No.

I saw a documentary about the Tassie tuna fisherman who sent the tuna to Thailand by airfreight to process and then sent back to Oz because it was cheaper to do so.

Yes, correct. It is virtually impossible to find canned tuna that is not "product of Thailand", as the big Thai fish company controls the industry ( and in virtually every country, including the USA, as well as Europe).

TV Monde did a very good documentary on it last year.

So you can make special bread for keto diet ?

This one is quite tasty and easy to make. There are dozens, hundreds maybe, others on YouTube.

I would buy it if I could, but finding low carb bread is a challenge ( although Villa Market now stocks "high protein bread" in a couple of brands, expensive at 260 baht for a tiny packet.

exhibition should be taken down , anything glorifying or normalizing this psychopaths life is an affront to all who suffered under the Germans 2nd  attempt of world domination

That's one way of looking at it...and has been the majority opinion/official policy in Germany since the end of the occupation. The other side is that Germany is a totally different place now and it's citizens are, of course, more than capable of viewing these events/exhibitions without becoming attracted to the philosophy of Nazism.

In fact there are many permanent exhibitions in venues throughout the country ( just without the personal elements involved in this one).

IMHO, it's a good thing to put more sunlight on this period of a German history. Young people are sometimes attracted to that which is verboten, if only for the very reason it is so.

Is there anything trump can do anymore that would shock and be the last straw for the complicit republicans?

It's like this is a grand game for him.

If Scaramucci is correct in his twitter assertion that Priebus is the leaker then it would seem the undermining is coming from within. I truly hope so.

In the same article the BBC characterises the White House as being like the final scene of Reservoir Dogs ( in which they all turn on each other).

The bloated horror will be gone by Christmas.
