Yes she gave birth whist on a visit visa and flew back (to South America) 4 weeks later.
Also happened to a friend of mine 5 years ago. Maybe they were more lenient then.

Diesel to and from P'lok, Bht 1500, BTS and parking at Mo Chit Bht 400, and a foot-long for her at 7/11 on the way. Yep, your'e right. I did add Bht 10 for putting in envelope, forgot another Bht 10 for taking it, together with many more , to Post Office. She WILL enjoy UK, and Italy if Schengen Visa is issued.

I have never heard of the sms messages not being sent... one when the decision is made, and one when received back at VfS from the embassy.
Do you think that the paperwork puts itself in the envelope and takes itself to the post office? You could have saved 280 Baht by collecting yourself!!
Nothing left to complain about now ?, well done in getting the visa and I hope the GF enjoys the UK.

Of course they can transfer a visa, they note down the visa number/date/issuer in your new passport.
Not everyone has an extension of stay in their old passport..
Whilsr we can easily get into semantics if we are not careful...
1.A visa will not be transferred. You carry both new and old passports un5il the next visa is arranged and stamped in the new Passport.
2. An extension will be transferred to the new passport.

We already took the long route to get to where we are....a 45 year journey...

The really serious question is, why does there have to be a negotiating position with the EU in the first place?
There has been no sensible answer put forward so far. The backstop answer is always the 'will of the people', but 'people' do not make legislation, there has only ever been 3 national referendums, the UK is a parliamentary democracy and constitutional issues should not be determined by referendum on a first past the post basis, it is not an election.
It appears to be conveniently forgotten that Mr Brexit said before the referendum that a 52/48 outcome would bring the result into question, so whether you or anyone else likes it or not the result will always be in question.
Whether anyone likes it or not “the result” will stand.
I think David Cameron said it would....

what happened by the way? a few drunk idiots threw a few things at a big bus?
You make it sound like a normal event....
I agree it is a storm in a teacup, and the press will no doubt still make a meal out of it....... deplorable nonetheless.

As you don’t meet the criteria for the “O-A” visa, your best bet is to return on a 30 day exempt entry then go to Savannaket for a multiple-entry Non-Imm ‘O’ based on marriage.

Each to their own opinion.
Voters now say they would reject a referendum on leaving by 55 per cent to 27 per cent – a 28 per cent gap in favour of the EU.
I imagine that that you really really want to believe those percentages currently to the UK.

You clearly have an issue with those who don't share your view that the current UK passport renewal procedures are the best thing since sliced bread.
Best set thing since sliced bread? No.
Straight forward procedure and easy to follow? Yes.

Incorrect.
A third party can be appointed to submit, and collect, your application/Passport.

When does your passport expire?
Presumably at least 6 months if you are considering traveling to Cambodia.
Personally, I would be concerned about achieving renewal within a 30 day timeframe.
The condo rental should be adequate if you write a covering letter explaining why that is all you have. Liverpool have shown themselves to be helpful in these situations.

Liam Fox's trip to India was instructive - If the UK want more trade with India then the UK must issue more visas to Indians (Erm...... India dictating UK visa policy? That'll sell well).
PM May goes to China and comes back doing exactly what China tell her to do (Hinkley B - PM U-turn).
The US is enacting trade barriers.
The British Empire is dead and gone.
As a Brexiteer I am delighted that the British Empire.
Only delusional remoaners keep raising the subject of the British Empire......the State of Europe is more such traits than the UK...

Pattaya to ambassadors: Tourists can carry copy of passport
in Pattaya News
Posted
Indeed, but as we both know there is NO legal reference relating to carrying a passport or not. We now have a minor government official + a deputy general, a few years ago, saying that carrying a copy of one’s Passport is acceptable.
Like you, I carry ID + copies of Passport and stamps........ and have never been asked to show them.
