  1. lets have a contest then i post a good face pic and you do the same. Let people judge are you up for that. You got a big mouth that is for sure. At your age.. you must be looking like S...t and i got 20 years on you and living healthier. Come lets go for that and let some ladies decide.

    Here you go ......

    attachicon.gifMe.jpg

if that is you you look great but i doubt it.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

There's an easy way of finding out...

FiftyTwo, please take the picture again of you standing by that door but holding a piece of paper with your Thai Visa username on it! :)

Trust me there's no way on the planet a fake picture would have that information on it. ;)

  2. The OP needs to treat this as a wake-up call and stop being the dumb buffalo throwing pearls before the swine.

Tough love is needed, and if a TG in 2014 is asking YOU for money when they already have a job or are unwilling to get a job then it's time to throw her bags out the door.

This isn't the earlier times where they earned nit nawy baht each month.

Most farang are starting to wake up nowadays to their games though.

  3. Chalerm has blood on his hands. No sooner has he stated that Suthep will be arrested 'dead or alive' than we have Taratin shot dead, the same method Chalerm said was ok for Suthep. Inciting the red shirts to lethal violence by saying it is ok to murder the anti govt protesters (ok for the police to murder the leader).

Chalerm obviously takes his cue from the evil monk in the 70s who said it was OK to kill a communist. The result was many poor Isaan villagers slaughtered with impunity by armed vigilantes without any proof of their political views, just like Thaksin's war against drugs.

    Who is this 'evil' monk?

He sounds like he knows who the real enemy is that's for sure.

Communism is a great evil in this world, the sooner it's consigned to the rubbish bin the better.

    Don't be a lame liberal

  4. So what are the risks for a foreign person having this description/status:

    1. He is a European, age 38 and he lives here in Bangkok... He is unmarried, he rents a nice apartment, he does not own anything here (no condo, no car) He has no kids, no permanent girlfriend, etc.

    2. He is semi-respectable for a resident "sex-tourist" type... he is very clean-cut, dresses conservatively, no tattoos, no piercings, he does not drink or smoke, and he's never been in any trouble for anything. He presents a very 'clean' image, perhaps almost unusually so for a European guy his age.

    3. He is independently wealthy and he does not work.

    4. He goes in and out every 30-days, VOA, and he always flies in and out through swampyboom, and he always stays over night offshore one-night or two-nights where ever he goes, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, etc.

Technically, he fits the definition of a foreigner who lives here in LOS on tourist visas. However, he is squeaky-clean and he does not work here. Additionally, he is not making "border runs", per se... (there is always a one-day or two-day offshore break between the exit and the re-entry visa stamps)

However, I'm wondering, what are his risks? On the one hand there is the literal reading of the Thai immigration rules versus how we think it is being enforced.

    Comments? Advice?

He is not getting tourist visas or a VOA he is getting visa exempt entries.

What he is doing is not a problem at all and there are many doing it.

They entire thing is about people working here illegally or involved in other illegal activities.

Yeah but what he's getting at is that he may be 'presumed' to be illegally working when a border-checker see's a gazillion stamps in his passport ;)

  5. As of now, teachers can obtain a provisional license (waiver). You can teach, but you will eventually have to get yourself fully legal.

I don't know that the OP is paranoid. Sometimes it really does feel like they are out to get us.

It's the way the country is going. Slowly but surely Thailand is copying rules and over-regulation that is all the rage in the west at the moment.

A small part of me is glad that they are doing this, the other yearns for the old days when Thailand would do it's own thing and not be swayed into following the rule-makers elsewhere.

For the past decade or so the country has been going this way unfortunately. Everywhere it's getting harder to live and thrive unless you are a multi-millionaire.

  6. Is anyone getting tired of and catching on to the Dark Illuminati Giant Coorporate entities controlling this planet for known hundreds of years? Anyone with a logical brain knows 99% of all news media are owned and controlled by large coorporations, no such thing as Free Press. The BBC is among the worst of these and only spins what they want, in order to brainwash/dumb down the masses even further for their own evil agenda. Go away western press and leave Thailand to solve it's own Thainess.

So which "giant corporate" [sIC] entity owns the BBC then?

It's supposed to be the tax-payer but they got shafted back in the 60s when it went all fabian-marxist and anti-normal. ;)

  7. Scathing report looking down on these idiots with the disdain they deserve.

Good to see Sutheps English skills are on a par with his tactical nous. Absolute moron, whilst Abhisit is equally repulsive at least the guy has brains.

Totally agree. An excellent report there from Channel 4 news - as you say they treat the anti-government demonstrators with the contempt they deserve. Total idiots who cheer on that Dr Seri guy - not because they have a clue what he is talking about but just because he shouts so they think he is saying something forcefully.

I wish Channel 4 would interview some Farangs who support the anti-government protests. They too need to be exposed by the balanced media outlets.

They can interview me anytime, and I'll state for the record that C4 is a biased, left-wing fringe outfit that supports the socialist elements that stab society in the back.

The protestors know that which is why the red-shirts, Thaksin etc are the lowest of the low and people are massively saying enough is enough. :)

  8. Oh Lordy . . we have a New World Order type amongst us.

It doesn't matter what news outlet we provide you, because you will have some sort of conspiracy connected reason why it's not to be believed. Presumably the BBC is not to be trusted because of some kind of British ruling class thing being connected to jewish bankers . . am I right?

And yet you choose to believe libertynews.com, Alec Jones and the Iranian state media.

    You couldn't make it up.

I have never said I believe Liberty news.com. Why. Because I've never heard of it, Laurel. You're really living up to your avatar. I have not presented any conspiracies. I've simply pointed out that I don't believe Rupurt Murdoch and large banks, who control what's disseminated on the outlets you like. If you do, I pity you. Neither do I believe Alec (sic) Jones because he mixes a lot of hyperbole and hogwash in with some truth and it's hard to tell what's what. It's no wonder you swallow everything on CNBC, etc with your inability to comprehend a simple post.

And let me remind you, I started this thread looking for answers. I don't have time to teach people who have a teach me if you can attitude. So this is goodbye. Gotta go find the iggy button. I suggest others do the same.

Yep that is what ignore buttons are made for.

Basically if you have a problem with international banking and the bankster ways of operating every SG and their dog will come out and try for a bite. This laurel guy is just one of their little party faithful. Banks can do no wrong. The merchant class are all-wise and all knowing for our eternal benefit etc etc.
