  1. Yes agree, Jose is due a Champs league win with an English team....... will he get that wish is another question.

    Up to him.

    He knows what's required.

    So does van Gaal.

Van Gaal....needs to overhaul and rebuild that squad, how he does that effectively is yet to be seen. I remember when we fell off our perch and we still have not fully recovered although the signs are there.

    It ain't rocket science.

Prem will be won by the geezer with nouse and money.

CL will be won by the geezer with nouse and money.

We all know who has the money....but who has the nouse? ;)

    Jose, Ancelloti, Pep?

I think we will see a different style of football this season for a few teams. Its gonna be interesting. Excited to see how we fair under Rodgers on Europe.

  3. If Remy signs and Boroni / Assadi are off then we get a decent player and also make a few quid to add to our massive current pockets....its a win win lol

Arye has obviously had some good WackyBaccy

  4. Muppet season in full swing. Balotelli and Castillas to Le Arsenal?.....not doing bad olde Wenger this transfer window.

If you believe what you read in the press he's buying about 298 new players.

Not sure why, he will be gone next season I reckon....... National manager....somewhere ;)

  6. Seems to me there are/were 2 important decisions to make.

    1. How do Liverpool improve their current squad.

    2. What do Liverpool do about losing Suarez.

I'm sure Brendan knows what he's doing. But it would be very easy in the circumstances to make the same mistake Spurs did when Bale left.

That mistake being to confuse what are 2 effectively different issues. The 2 issues above that is.

    In answer to the above:

1: Squad is improved imo with Markovic, Can, Lallana, possibly Remy, Moreno, Lovren. Also the current crop of young players are improving and I expect a couple to be promoted to the first team this season.

2: With nigh on 70 million (if figures are to be believed) plus out going sales to come in, I am sure if we can attract them, couple of starters will be brought in, maybe the likes of Di Maria, Isco, Firmino, Moura are names being banded about and do fit the profile (area) we need to strengthen to limit the loss of Suarez.

Spurs dealings last summer I very much doubt most of those signings were the managers choice.

    We'll see what happens.

  7. I think that was the plan Steve, beef up the squad first and get the fringe players out (check)......phase 2 would be to sign direct starters for the first team, with the supposed money available it could well be we get "Worldies" lol..........heres hoping anyway, I am quite happy on what we have done so far. I reckon another 4 in and we will be done.

  8. Nice one Franky

I have been in a panic this morning after reading up on here, Im due to fly back from Saudi next Thursday, I have an email from the embassy here stating what I need to get my family visa next time and also a return ticket, they told me just to go back on tourist visa (30 day), I do not have any other option. Even have my wife and kids Thai passports (not sure why lol).

I am hoping they give me entrance on a TR.

On a side note, if the unthinkable happens, do you think we would get the chance to speak with an immigration manager at the airport to state our case?

If you have been out of the country for a while you will have no problem entering and getting a 30 day visa exempt entry (not a tourist visa).

Is your family traveling with you?

    Hi Joe / Mario

I will have been out of Thailand nearly 35 days, I normally work anything between 4 - 6 weeks away. I will be travelling alone, I just forgot to leave my families passports at home in Thailand.

Whilst I have been in Saudi I have been intouch with the consulate and I have all the information of what I need to bring next time in order for me to apply for my family visa, I had had one in the past but due to work commitments I now just rely on the exempt one as many others do in our trade.

I now know I need the family one and plan to get that next time, I have no other option now but to try and enter back on an exempt visa, the consulate even stated this.

I have my return ticket and can prove I work away, I am just worried I will get denied.....reading so many posts on here I don't know what to expect. If the worst does happen I will definatley try and speak to a supervisor, for what good that will do, I need to get home to get the documents together for the family visa.

I work in the mining sector and I visit Thailand every 4th or 5th week for 1 to 2 weeks on my R & R. I rent an apartment and my GF lives in it while I work overseas. I enter Thailand through Bangkok airport and have my passport stamped (not a visa) I will be flying into Bangkok on the 23rd July and my question is, what are my chances of being turned away at immigration?

I do not work in Thailand while I am there, genuine tourist only.

I don't think you're a genuine tourist, not with your girlfriend living here and this apparently your homebase.

But I don't see you having any problems at the border.

I thought that might be the case, thank you for your response. I will post on 23rd July if I have any issues at immigration at Bangkok.

Thats when I'm going , 8 30am .Maybe I'll see you in the Immigration interrogation room ;o)

I arrive on the 24th, save us a space in the interrogation room ;)
