The government has enough money. They just can't access it because the government is in "caretaker" mode due to the elections.
So, basically ..the farmers are not being paid thanks to Suthep.

Oh boy, Suthep will be steaming tonight...

Is it possible that he could have been shot, then turned around 180 degrees and got shot again? That would indicate the shots came from 1 direction, not 2. Sometimes pople tend to move when they get shot. It doesn't mean that there were shooters on two sides.

Read my signature below as to what Suthep said when he imposed the emergency decree in 2010:

Another dumb CEO. Getting involved in politics and risking dragging the entire company down.
Maybe she forgot to mention that SC Asset, one of Charn Issara's biggest competitors in the construction business, is owned by Thaksin Shinawatra.
Looks like she's trying to get rid of the competition rather than achieving political changes.
She will probably regret that decision in the future.
Another dumb post that gets the issue back-to-front.
Given that the owners of SC Asset are very much part of the corruption that drives the PTP, Charn Issara is looking for a level playing field rather than any ficticious effort to eliminate any competition.
At least Thailand hasn't yet reached the stage where no one is allowed to protest although some posters seem to believe it should.
Why do you feel the need to insult my post as dumb?
Charn Issara is a competitor of SC Asset. It's clear that she has a conflict of interest here that could be interpreted as trying to get rid of the competition in order to gain a monopoly.
If you protest without resigning from the leadership of your company, one has to assume that this is what's happening. If she did not want to drag her company into this, she should have resigned. But apparently her status as CEO is worth more to her than the "cause" of the protests.

Suthep: Yingluck, u r cruel to send someone to kill a Thai. It's inhuman.
That coming from someone who is currently on trial for the murder of 80+ Thais.
But I was in government will be his defense! Just what would it be like if he ever got into office again?
"Last one to leave please switch off the lights", no doubt.
I doubt he will ever hold a higher office than prison inmate mayor again in his life. The army and police aren't joining his protests, neither are they launching a coup. They're just waiting until he runs out of steam which seems to be any day now.

This morning:
Suthep threatens to shut down CMPO within a dayAnd 5 minutes ago, Suthep on stage:
RT@Lerlaforever: Suthep: So close down your CMPO, or we will do it for u. But we won't tell u when , to let u live in fear.
Didn't he just say when this morning? And apparently this evening he can't remember what he said this morning?
And this guy wants to run the country?

If they are fighting for a better Thailand, against corruption, why are the protests full of knock-off vendors? Is this a sign that anti-piracy laws won't be respected once Suthep comes to power?

Chalerm tells protesters to leave govt offices in 72 hours or face arrests
This actually should read thus.
Chalerm tells Yingluck and the P.T.P. to leave govt offices in 72 hours or face arrestsHowever it would appear as if the ear medicince has conspired to compound a speech impediment and the wrong words came out in Chalerms comments.
Do you have a source for this?
Or are you spreading false reports?

It must be quite disheartening forever giving ultimatums that no one ever takes any notice of.
Yeah, I'm getting tired of Suthep's "tomorrow the government will fall!" too.

If his Sister was democratically elected by the majority of the people, I don't see any problem. His sister hasn't been convicted of anything and you don't have any proof of Thaksin giving any orders to her to run the country.
Do you have any evidence you're withholding or is it just an opinion in your head?
Now, back to the point ...would the US or France send clowns or an assault team?
Think you need to read up on how YL became PM, she certainly wasn't elected by the majority of Thai people.
I did. Please explain as to why she became PM if she didn't win the election.
She certainly had more votes than Suthep, who now wants to become the "Secretary General" of the "People's Council" - which is completely unelected.
She didn't run as a PM candidate. PM's are elected by the House in accordance to has the majority. No PM is ever directly elected to the position.
So are PMs in dozens of other countries around the world, including Europe. Are you suggesting they are not legitimate leaders?
Or are you just trolling?

What is the list of companies?

so he's finally realizing that he can't arrest Sutthep in spite of all the yak yak yakking the last few weeks..and instead goes after the pawns just to satisfy his ego...He has to go after someone so it may as well be them...and this will only escalate things...
You realize that it's not Suthep who is blocking the entire city. He's not that fat. It's his pawns who are blocking it, so obviously if you want to open the city you have to go after them.
Makes sense?

Assault units? So he does want violence. Can't wait till he gets his cold plate of karma served up to him. What a sick, drunken parasite.
What do to think would happen if a group of thugs occupied the White House or the Elysee Palace?
Do you think other countries would send clowns to join the party and provide entertainment?
Nope. Assault teams. And much sooner. They wouldn't wait 3 months.

thaksin and his family of nut cases need to be expelled from the kingdom of Thailand. If yingluck is a puppet for her criminal brother then its time she is arrested and brought up on corruption charges. the people of Thailand deserve so much better of the leaders. Godbless the people of Thailand
If the farang says so. Thais must act immediately then!
Let's expel Thaksin from Thailand. Oh, wait a moment ...he hasn't been here for many years.
Now, that's a problem ...how can we expel him?
Maybe you should get up to date with events before posting such comments.
-
now murder charges for thaksin. he should be extradited immediately. he is the one that ordered the killing and everybody knows it
Seems like you have evidence that you are withholding from the police. Care to share it with us as to why you think Thaksin is responsible for this murder?
If you are withholding evidence, you are committing a crime yourself.
If you don't have evidence, please don't spread rumors. We don't need more hate stirred.

Once again we see the true colours of the reds, they are the violent thugs and will kill anyone who op[poses them, even peacefull protesters. This is directly on yingluck and she is now responsible for this death. Comeon all you red lovers, start bragging how great you are now .
Please let me remind you once again. It was not Yingluck that started this problem, but his excellency the mouth from the south. So this death has to be directly his responsibility. If he had not started this problem, that man would still be alive and waiting for the next election whilst the Elected government would be getting on with running the country as they were popularly elected by a large majority to do.
It sure as hell was Yingluck who started this mess!!!! If she had not sneaked thru the AMNEASTY BILL, all this would have not started. She would have already been in jail or ran away from Thailand to escape her corruptible Rice Scheme.
We can go back until the Stone Age if we play this game.
If the military coup, stirred up by the yellow shirts, that ousted Thaksin didn't happen, there would never have been a need for an Amnesty Bill.
But that's not the point now.
The point right now is that Thai citizens are guaranteed a right to vote under the constitution, approved by HM.
Today, voters were blocked and prevented from voting and therefor deprived of their rights.
A movement that is not Democratic if it prevents voters from voting and calls for an unelected council to rule Thailand, no matter how many times they put the word Democratic in their slogans and titles.

When Thailand enters a Civil War - it will still not be enough to satisfy Thaksin Shinawatra.
But it will be enough to satisfy Suthep, because that's exactly what he wants - a civil war.
Charn Issara chief as protester - and media critic
in Thailand News
Posted
It's generally considered dumb to go publicly support a protest while on the board of a prominent company, even worse if you are the CEO.
Why? Because if the protest goes down the wrong way, your company's image will forever be associated and therefor damaged.
People will very quickly associate the Charn Issara company now with the Suthep protests. House buyers who are considering buying a house may not buy it if they are pro-Thaksin or even neutral to the current political conflict.
Therefor, her actions are causing direct damage to the company.
If you think her decision is smart, well ...then that's your opinion.
