Please! Wait until you are at least 80 before you start such philosophizing around getting “old”.

Yeah, you can buy it in plastic skin, preserved. But I mean the raw stuff bought direct at the butcher's which is a real treat.
Sounds great! In Germany I did buy it at the butcher shop but they packed into plastic skin.

Out of sight out of mind. I'm thinking mostly of deli style chopped chicken liver.
Sure, you do not get the real deal there. Like leberwurst/liver sausage.

Hackepeter . . . (Raw seasoned minced pork with onions - goes great on bread.)
Is that like the Frühstuckwurst I love?

Eating some cooked meat is not the same thing as pouring in pure blood into a soup or salad or making a cake made of blood.
Yes it is pretty much exactly the same — go Veggies!

Offal too, except for liver.
Lots of blood to eat in a liver!

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” may be the safest and least costly approach in this case.

What does ‘hot washing’ mean in this discussion? 40C, 60C, 90C ?

One of the paradoxes of Thailand. Department stores seem to be more expensive than California ones. And so many people say that California is expensive.
USA has always been relatively dirt cheap for clothing.

You are right They do.
I did a conversion to US gallons because as an American I cant get my head wrapped around litters. LOL,
The same thing with Meters and Feet, If you were to tell me a room was 12x16 ft, I would immediately have a mental picture, but if you were to tell me that a room was 3mX 5m I would get a blank look in my face even though I know a meter is about 3 ft
I got used to both for lengths and most weights, etc., but I have some difficulty with American gas /petrol and beer!
What I will never get my head around is measuring people in pounds, and inches so I just divide by 2 to get an approximate value and I know my 12 X table too.

What is odd about that?

I would have thought they sold it in litres, like here! Also probably for euros, not dollars.

Study reveals how much money you need to retire in Thailand

This ‘life-expectancy’. Is that also in the USA? Is it ‘at birth’ or ‘at 64’?
PS: a mere 14 years post-retirement is an incredibly short time!
