to the thai's who won't go there because it's priced way above other places.

Yes and one reason is your idol who is taxing like a crazy man.

From 1 year tax op with 300 %

On business and how much on alcohol and now how much on houses.

And how much do he give back of all the tax he claimed.

Until now almost nothing in all 6 years.

And where he gets the most tax from.

It might not be phuket or Pattaya but they are in top.

Phuket has never been for thais.

And as long as ding dong tax like this it will never be.

Everyone still have to pay tax

So direct your comments where it belongs.

    Who throw out the customers.

Use whatever you can just for ones.

As I am a business person I can give you an advice, Khun Anucha: No foreign company is willing to pay 14 days quarantive for it's representative when they need to go for business talks to Thailand for a few days.

Simply ask for a negative test before departure in the country of origin, then for another test after arrival in Thailand, and let to visitor stay in his hotel till the local test shows a negative result.

You are as wrong as you can be.

Many lands for sale in Patong.

    Would never normally be.

And the Chinese buy and never give back.

Thais are left completely alone by this government even after coronavirus.

Don't care for anything if they can buy these perfect spots.

And after thais can work for Chinese for 15000 bath a month.

They should block the airport so no international flights can go in with anything else than regular tourist.

Problem with Phuket is that they catered almost exclusively to foreign tourists. It's just not the high prices for rooms. If you wanted any kind of decent Thai food, in many places, you can't find any, just expensive watered down Thai food if you're lucky. Then you have the expensive tuk tuks and taxis, etc. It became a classic tourist trap that locals will avoid.

It's all true but it starts with the rent and the land prices.

And the corruption of the police and preb and the other people who think phuket belong to them.

And they can do as they like.

It's like levels each level each mind and sure the tuk tuks are one level somewhere.

And now it's going to be worse as tax is applied to property after value and phuket has the highest land prices.

Taxes like this is insane as it could possibly destroy more than it benefits especially with this government..

But the change have to come from the top and until now its not going to happen.

I lived here many years but I would never spend my holidays here so why should the thais.

But phuket have the best clima of all of Thailand

And it's the best place for foreign tourists too if they have money for it.

But for thais it's not like this and expensive

And the second problem is the people with big land and money are uneducated farmers and you can't hardly expect them to fully understand what they are doing.

And it doesn't help much that they try to educate there children it takes generations.

Just too much for them to understand can not just look at the government that's also uneducated people who believe they actually know something as they been together with other people who are even less if possible educated.

So not a chance they have to sit it over or go bankrupt

Idiot question! Same than ask  after your most close person died: are you happy now?

Nice to ask when really hard times! Maybe last year get different answer!

Not really my brother in law gonna loose his job on the platform as ding-dong put up the taxes same time as oil prices are low

did 2 years ago they did not renew the contract and finish new-year.

But many other examples like this.

1 year ago he put house tax on all property starting this year.

And what the thais get submarines.

So the only thing that's stupid I do understand is something you need help to figure out.

Immigration and constant changing rules is why we left. Why anyone sorry why any expat would buy property in Thailand is beyond my comprehension. I just dont understand how anyone could now be thinking of Thailand as a place to retire in.

Better than where I come from I would be 73.

Thanks to low tax I can do in the next decade I'll be no more than 55.

    I think it's a good reason.

I'm sure there are many more.

And it's only because of my lifestyle I use too much money on cars and have too many.

If I didn't do that I could do it now thanks to my wife and thailand.

I'm not a fan of the PM but, as far as I know, his daughters are not involved in politics and are not responsible for the deeds of their father - despicable as they are.

IMHO - If the allegations against them are untrue they should be protected by the law.

It's a question of if they should know the money the spend is gained legally or not.

As they are grown ups legally they have responsibilities it goes for the money you spent too.

So if the money they get from there father is unlikely to be made legally as the money doesn't follow his salary.

Or his money is made by coup a country they better not spent any of his money and don't get anything from him as that probably would be money laundering.

Coups or drug Lords or corruption money and more in this level can never be spent legally.

In many countries from the age of 15 years.

So if they spend any of his money and demand there rights the only way they can get that is to scrutinies there fathers way of get the money if they spend any.

But his a coup maker and then by law a criminal.

And still sits on power nothing gonna go against him.

I do believe he should have a fair trial after.

Not the kind the use normally.

And his family must be judged too.

So that they go to court at this time is lack of understanding the situation and far from sensible.

And no judge have the power to find the truth

    Hopefully in the near future.

    Now they seek it

helps seams to be on the way but not the kind they are thinking

Even a dinner paid by him is money laundering if money not made legally but possible not something you get convicted of.

Fact is they have many possible ways to be connected to him illegal.

So your statement not taken no matter you might be right but it's unlikely

You sick and you sick how you know, we test you.

    So now we close everything.

But we are not feeling sick but you might get another one who gonna feel sick and if you are really really unlucky someone going to die.

It's so bad as before they got numbers from hospitals but now they use numbers from tests regardless of hospitals.

But that was the original argument.

Not able to comprehend the amount of sick people.

  8. It's not important for the dismissal of the case.

Did he hit the bike, did he kill anyone.

Did he drag someone under the car disregard the person could be alive.

Did he run from the site.

When he finally appeared did he test positive for anything.

And finally haw fast was he driving.

Did he leave any skit marks and if so how long.

The murder charge is surely the fact he drag the man under his car disregard he might be alive

which is a possibility with lower speed.

All the talks about the lower speed is actually making the crime worse.

I take him to Somalia and let some the black ones drag him alive after a car and he might get an idea what he done.

And if some police like to try i can probably arrange for that too.

It's a horrible crime surely lack of anyone home on top floor had something to do with this.

    He is not only spoiled.

Strange that indonesia has countless infections. That rules out climate. The hash lockdown is what saved us.

    I

I give you it is strange but the lockdowns have very little to do with it the amount of people close together at the bus stop was enough too in theory be fare greater than lompini the boxing stadium.

    But nothing happened.

On top of this 2 month +before lockdown after 1 case in thailand.

The question is why but all the incompetence they show off has nothing to do with it.

I believe we had the 1 case in Dec 2019 but nobody knew about coronavirus at this stage.

In some way it past over our heads for some reason.

Not as coronavirus is a deadly virus you can't really say that.

In some cases it can spread very fast and in others not at all.

But the government has nothing to do with the luck we had with the virus it would have been enough with distance and mask and clean.

But don't fool yourself the question still stands why.

All over the world, VIPs and government officials get sanctioned police escorts to speed them along their way and provide security.

Whether it was justified in this case or not is a separate issue.  The issue I see is a vehicle not pulling over for an emergency vehicle with lights and sirens blaring away.  As we've all seen happening to ambulances and fire trucks.  For that, they'd have been pulled over and fined in most places around the world.

    Then look better

    Enough too left side

Nobody need to stop only let them pass and he does

But not enough for the driver in the overtaking cars

And surely they have no rights to drive like that.

Just pass normal if they need to drive like this better they don't go nobody can endanger others lives not even an ambulance.

Allowing this is just one more step too far.

If you don't understand this you must do something about it

    your statement is not ok.

To be fair to these chumps, extending it for the time being is the logical step.

    That's the point

The emergency is to get rid of the government so better extend it until they do.

The virus never been a big problem not because of their actions.

I think phuket had the virus already in February probably before.

    But no major outbreak.

But from af boxing stadium Medium outbreak.

That's is experience it means open bars does not have the same risk as a indoor boxing night.

There are already a lot we learned.

Chinese love shopping malls and no major outbreak.

Chinese love group travel and still no major outbreak.

And only a fool believe all this Chinese where all corona free.

So if they used common sense there have never been an emergency.

Same as nobody declare emergency without telling why.

So either they like this opportunity or they are even less fortunate with the top floor, it seems like they create a nice ecco.

Personally I believe it is both.

But only emergency is to get them transferred to a place where they can't get out ever. And that would be the fair part

How can TUI justify such a payment delay on completed holidays?

Presumably TUI have been paid up front by their customers, in some cases months in advance. So they are expecting the hotels to provide no cost finance whilst the hotels are suffering through having zero cash flow for many months as well as financing costs related to when these customers were staying at the hotels.

Then, to add to their dubious business practice, TUI are offering to release 25% of the hotel revenue but only if they signup for a further period. No doubt the new contract will include  a clause that makes their current actions legal.

    Disgraceful.

It's the way big companys do

Our bank does business with us we borrow money they rent space for there atm both on contract.

They despite the contract cut payment for the atm's with 68%

They cut our interest rate with 0,3%

I personally think 68% is OK but only if it goes two ways they must cut interest the same.

We made the deals in connection as the atm's is paying our interest +

    But now not.

    Same like this

everyone wants other people to pay there investments which go bad now.

But we and all the hotels are not the ones who is to blame.

Better they fight the government who is to blame.

    But that's right

    but not easy

but it would be worth it

so no matter what's going to happen they don't cross the lines again.

They need to get learn a lesson not only the government here but all around the world.

All you on pension where you think your money come from.

Investing if go bad sooner or later you get less.

And the rest off us is same limit work if not none.

Result our savings go lower every day no matter have a lot or not.

Only ones on top with all there connections will stay on.

And we have to pay for them no matter we already lost.

So this tui and banks are only the beginning.

Else we must stand up now.

    And tell them off

but not easy and expensive too

but in the end we wind hopefully.

Or we just loose every day same normally with tax and all the public services.

The government here is not the only one who cheat the people it's every where

    nobody do anything.

tui gets complain but nobody do anything

    Consequences is. It

    is not going our way.

    Some complaints

but in the end all good kids do as they are told

and many ask how we live our life now we need directions.

I can see some people in here don't know how to live there life either without getting told.

It's more scary than any virus

So many people in the world are seemingly thrilled to have their personal freedoms taken away by a handful of power crazed authoritarians making decisions on how we can live our lives.... boggles the mind.

Further, a complete lack of understanding of how this 'crisis' is their wet dream test case for controlling the masses and the concept of a slippery slope. The naivete is breathtaking.

    boggles my mind too

there is no outbreak in thailand and no emergency in terms of corona

and the virus is not deadly in 99% of the cases or less

and the hospitals are not busy.

    start testing and do something

lock downs is the opposite , restriction is for someone like steven 100 who is not able of take care of himself,

the rest of us who are use to take care and able, only need information to cope .

and even so people like steven 100 are around it will still be manageable and maybe it would be healthy for people like him to get some inspiration from common sense on contra mindlesss leaders with limited education and life experience .

life is for everyone and no one can restrict common freedom from all on there own .

what kind of person is that anyway, not someone i would trust, but that trust does not seam to be the case of importance anywhere .

If this so called By you Childish ban saves one person from getting Covid-19 . Then it's achieved its aim

    No its not

Everyone have to get coronavirus or at least a lot.

If alcohol means so much to them ban it for a while

but it have nothing to do with the virus.

don't know what I personally think about it.

Have 2 side, you could restrict on it  other side you can not

    As nobody can control that

Thai governments can 80%control open or close.

Same as the phuket districts closure 80%.

This ideas are generally not well thought through.

its hard when they imploy governors who have same level of education as 12 year student.

Or at least it seems like that

the people in the government for the moment doesn't improve that image.

And it start getting frustrating nobody realise 80% of this ordeal we go through is not connected to corona.

Sadly its mostly connected to imagination which doesn't do us any good.

It's a virus only special is the way it infect.

Keep distance, wear face mask, clean hands and what you use, don't get in big crowds where distance is impossible.

All the rest missed the target little or far.

The shut downs where ment for getting the hospitals number in line with hospitals limit.

    A personal wiew.

not even that ever been necessary.

The death rate depends how well you isolate yourself frem elderly people. Not in your house its insane.

But this is the most danger from this virus the imagination.

    It's scare all of us.

But must get on, no matter scared.

What to do with a tourist destination with only 2000 cases and no immunity. 3 million visitors.

You can all think what you want but that dose not sound ideal.
