best Amphur to use to register it. I tried Laksi and they say submit paperwork, wait two months and get called in for the registration

You'll find that they are all being difficult these days.

Back in the day it was a breeze.

I reckon they're fed up with the foreigners abusing the system, just getting married for an easy visa.

Hello Thai people: The pandemic's over now, pretty please, ditch the face masks!

    Hello overweight, unhealthy person.

I'm an Aussie and I certainly will not ditch my face mask while outside, especially when riding my motorbike.

    I'm taking the healthy option.

Fool you for breathing in the filth.

Why don't you mind your own business.

Geeze, some people have got nothing better to DO.

If you're bored, try the gym and lose some weight, get yourself in shape.

Worry about your own backyard first.

    Mmmm, seems a tidy sort.

Poor girl, off to those stinking cells.

I'm sure a few of the boys here would offer her to join them on a marriage

I don't think there are many Thai men on this site, if any at all. :coffee1:

I reckon this is the problem.... You are thinking, stop it immediately before you hurt yourself.

As a married foreigner on a retirement visa, if your wife has not reached the age of 50, she can act as your dependent.

The story is no good with out the facts,

    Agree.

    We need more important information

    1. Was she packing her clogs

    2. Has she been to the Heineken brewery

    3. Did she have her underwear on.

    4. Was any of her family present when the boy stopped a dam from cracking by plugging a hole with his finger.

    Why whine about so-called thieves

I posted a fair question, it became a whine once the immoral members, the penny pinches, the scroogers, tight-@rses, the ones with values different to mine came on board trying to justify this theft.

I was born in Sydney and grew up in a leafy suburb. When I was in high school I worked evenings, selling newspapers and pushing shopping trolleys. I've worked all my life, my company sends me on regular training courses keeping skilled.

Growing up both my parents worked, they would always tell me and my siblings, work hard because the aged pension is just for those who have never worked, never had a job, who don't have savings, it's for the dole bludgers.

I came to live in Thailand many years ago, I see alot of these people, people living here in Thailand on welfare and it makes me think how people on the aged pension can survive and live comfortably in Thailand. Yes, Thailand is affordable but is it a happy life for those without savings, on the aged pension, the little bit of money the government gives you, is this the reason behind this unethical behavior, people think it's OK to steal?

I prefer have money to buy the comforts in life for me and my family, go to the restaurants I like, to travel to different places and live well, owning several, houses, condos, vehicles, cars and motorbikes

I'm sure my values are different to those of some of the ex-dole bludgers who are on aged pensions that choose to live in Thailand.

Some may think it's OK to behave unethically, immoraly, actions that are against social norms or acts that are considered unacceptable to the public, like cheating on your spouse, plugging their personal items in communal outlets, to eat food before paying at the checkout, etc.

The world is is full of very different people, same regarding AN members, different people (poor cheap souls).

I'm living here enjoying myself, purchasing the pleasures in life.

Obviously you are not enjoying yourself if this thread is to go by.

Agree, I'm not enjoying myself at all.

Spending my quality time explaining over and over again to the miserable, nasty, horrible members who are only here to antagonize and hate.
