It's a sad world when you see the headline about some extrovert, show off guy making the news.
It just amazes me.
The media is encouraging this poor behavior.

Drives a Porsche and too tight to pay the paltry toll

I'm not sure if he learnt anything.
I reckon if he was still alive and back on the bike he'd be doing the same stupid things.
Some people never learn.

That's exactly why I haven't gone to Bali for years, and, I'm an Aussie. Gross boguns everywhere
The Indonesians deported an Aussie chick recently, not wearing a helmet riding her scooter, then abusing the cop.
I reckon Thailand should do the same, more deportations for breaking the law.

Now this is a headline.
I have never heard of compensation being offered.

Probably because a lot of Brits go to Thailand pal. If you looked at the ratios of tourists being dicks in Bali I'm sure Aussies would come top.
I reckon you need to research before making nonsense comments Pal.
You don't see that many Russians making fools of themselves.
UK, Aussies and Yanks about the same number.

Drillships or semisubs might be a better alternative.
No Deepwater drilling in Thailand, only Jackups.
If you've got offshore drilling, Barge Master experience try offshore drillers.

Good on do gooders. In Australia if there air we breathe was dirty, if beaches were covered in rubbish, do gooders would stop it.
I reckon most are petty issues.
They cost the country a lot of money with their annoying issues at times.

Wow, the Brits are making a name for themselves.
How they know it's a Brit if he walked away. And not arrested?
I read the headline, it sort of gives it away. ????

I live a busy life.
I do own a business and deal with Thais. I make a LOT of money
I am happy.
I had a mate, he owned (leased property) a GoGo bar, he made a LOT of money, huge income (bar fines, beer sales) every night.
At the end of each month he had very little left after paying all the bills, staff, police etc.
He always said that he was happy.
Sadly he's now penniless, he's weathered and fatigued, consistently putting up with Incompetence and unprofessionalism.
It's easy to make a lot of money here but it's about making a good profit, not too easy.

Not every Brit is like that.
