I just did it myself
from my understand it is free if you demand it but it takes 10 to 15 days on average to get it and some people on the forums have complained about it taking over a month.
I paid the 500baht and got it the next day, drop off before 12pm and you pick it up the next day between 1 and 4
this might help you

online Thai course I would check out
Thaipod 101
Learn Thai Podcast
here are some reviews of em
http://learnthaireviews.com/learn-thai-podcast-review/
http://learnthaireviews.com/thai-pod-101-language-program-review/
not sure about the Learn thai from a white guy program
I also tried that Stu Jay Learning Thai course online but was seriously disappointed in it. unlike the the Thai pod 101 and Learn Thai podcast which has a huge amount of content the Stu Jay I finished all his courses in less then a day
Thai Pod 101 also has a cool feature where you can ask an online teacher for help if you buy the premium package, she is not always online
but you can leave questions in Thai or English and she will answer them, I have never waited more then a day for answers
hope that helps you out

I am on CAT, paid 9 months but now on month to month. I asked them yesterday that I am going to another country for two or three months and if I could keep the modem and freeze the service. They said no problem when I was ready to leave just come in with my account number and they would freeze it until I got back.

The average monthly Thai income in 2014-2015 is just under 14 000 baht
35000 for most Thais is a lot of money unless she is some high class chick
she is bleeding you dry and by the sounds of it doing a good job. Sure she is calling you on her new iphone 6 and Laptop

I've looked into this clinic and altho I've read very good reviews, and the website and photos look professional. Tere's two things rthat bugs me about this doctor. First they want a 500$ deposit.. sight unseen. That's to be sent before any consultation. So in other words you send them 500$.. and you find that you need to cancel the appt..
Have you ever tried to get money back from a Thai? lol.
OR let's say you change your mind after you have the consultation.. are they going to refund your money?...good luck.
You can email them for the answers .. but you wont get any because they NEVER RESPOND!.
Interesting I actually saw the doctor, there was no 500 $ consultation, it was free
they answered all my emails sent as well
Still considering the procedure but have not committed

I sent an order today as well, says it will be here Feb 24th to March 17th
so will wait and see if it makes it it was less then 50 bucks about 3.5 pounds

Why does it say on there website they are no longer shipping to Thailand ?
I never said they were not shipping at all to Thailand
I said that only the International Air option was available and you had to have an order 80 dollars or less and 4lbs in total weight or less.
As I stated in post #35 the other options were no longer available. I only noticed this when I tried to check out and buy something
it was then I got the new Thailand Instructions.
I also talked to the live support and they told me only Air was available and if you are sending supplements you might have some problems getting them as Thailand sees supplements as drugs
In any case if you plan to do it, there seems to be some risk, I dont think a huge one but it seems some people have had bad luck with iherbs but just the minority while most have had good luck, if you follow the above rules
I plan to order and take the chance, it is my first time, so will see if I get it or not:)
-
They told me
1. They can send international air only if
a. it is 80 dollars or less for the order
b. It is 4 lbs or less as well for the order
I you go over a or b then you can't send, you have to do multiple orders
Also they said some things still might not make it anyway as Thailand sees supplements as drugs, so if you get pill supplements you might
not get them unless you go through a broker or have a doctor notice etc etc.....
I wanted both supplements and non supplements
Anyone have any experiences with their system as it is now. Iherb said they still have a pretty good success rate to the country with the process if you follow above, but its a chance u got to take as it will be non refundable etc if you lose it
-
just tried to order from iherb for the first time
see this on their order page
Please Note: Due to Thailand customs currently preventing importing of our products we have currently suspended shipping orders to Thailand with DHL Express or UPS International. We are currently working with customs to determine what we can do to get our packages to be allowed entry into your country. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

Hey all,
Looking for a new private tutor to help my Thai. I would prefer one that focuses more on Common everday
conversational speaking and does not just wing it when it comes to the lesson.
I would prefer around the Nimmanhemin area or close to it but would travel farther for a good teacher
I am not looking to get an ED Visa, just looking for a teacher to set up some private lessons
thanks all

found a couple articles online how to do it
but not sure
do I need a resident certificate or any documents to re register my bike
this is not a new register but extending it from my purchase last year
-
just so everyone knows I went
yesterday
i arrived at 130pm and there was 20 people ahead of me
from 1 to 18 it took about 30 minutes to go through them all
but person 18 and 19 took an hour
so I was out of there about 3pm, not sure why it took so long for those two people, took me about 5 minutes
once I got up to the counter.

Hello all,
I bought my motorbike last year in Chon Buri and moved up here a couple of months later
My registration/tax/mandatory insurance is running out this month
I like to renew it all
I have heard you can go to like a bike shop and they will do everything for you but it costs more
or you can do it on your own at the correct locations
My questions are
1. What do I need to do it? Do I need certificate of residence or anything
2. Where do I pay for it and get it done for the registration and insurance
3. how much should it cost both doing it on my own and by an agent like a bike shop
Thanks so much

What can you say, its not a great Visa option right now, both for the people that want to abuse it and for the people who dont want to abuse it.
Its unstable, its uncertain and you never know what is going to happen during your next 90 day extension. As for the schools well those ones that are legit will survive those that are not will survive for a while if they take advantage of students that are not following what is going on with the constant rule changes. I am tired of being on ED, and I go to school, the 4 days a week as well... it was a nice option in the past, learn the language, challenge the mind, have fun speaking it with the locals, enjoy Thailand... but now, well, its just not the same

to start a post like this I think you really should put your sources etc for this information, who told you the guy on the street?
Krey @ You se what happend.
his post was not about not believing you. His post was more about how you should have stated your source, as we know many people on the forums jump to conclusions and freak people out, just because yours ended up being true doesnt dismiss the fact that he was looking for a source on the original post

Certificate of the residence for a driving licence - where and how much? Ambiguous info
in Chiang Mai
Posted
well I live by Maya and have a motorbike so
15 minutes to drive there
15 minutes to pass in the paperwork and pay
15 minutes to drive home
then next day
15 minutes to drive there
2 minutes to pick up the form
15 minutes to drive again
so less then 2 hours for me personally but you do have to wait a night and it does kind of muck up your schedule for two days
I even went to the hospital to get my med certificate, then drove to renew my license that same day. so 2 days for everything including my renewal, now if this is your first license or you have to take tests it could obviously be longer
