The Official Manchester City Thread
mrbojangles replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Football forum
Yes. Because there is nothing new to add since the charges were brought. We have had the charges thrown at us, now we have time to defend ourselves against those charges. There is nothing new since february and so, yes, the BBC are trolling, pretty much like they always do. Glad I don't pay a license fee to them -

We all know the charges are still extant and they will be dealt with in due course. You bringing it up like this, particularly after us winning the PL title is pure trolling. It isn't banter Rick, you are after an argument and posting it to get a rise. -

Seeing as Rick found it necessary to post an historical picture in the City thread, dredged up from the archives of United winning the league. I thought it necessary to celebrate it being a decade since you last won it, to post a more recent piccie (yesterday) of us winning the PL. At least it stays in Manchester eh ???? -

Just to add, this is what the future is also holding. Be afraid, be very afraid laddie. I remember a certain member in the Spurs thread (not carmine or ronnie but he'll know who it was) who laughed when I said give us 10 years and we will be producing top talent from our academy. Man City's record-breaking academy season was a decade in the making Manchester City won the under-18 Premier League national final for the third year in succession, following the under-21s' third Premier League 2 title in a row. Man City's record-breaking academy season was a decade in the making - Manchester Evening News -
TBF OSA, I don't think much encouragement can be taken from that. If you saw our starting 11, you'd know it was made up of several youth's, the second choice goalie and Phillips who has hardly played this season. Couple with the fact we were also in party mode, there is some serious work needs to be done at Chelsea over the closed season. IMO, of course

R.I.P Andy Rourke of the Smiths who has died following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Even though he supported your lot he was a fantastic musician. Another star of my young youth music scene gone. ???? -
Scores are up. This weeks winner is Thaiwrath, closely followed by HotandSticky and ClartyBoots. With only 2 weeks to go Mouserless is at the top but with HotandSticky hot on his tails. ClrtyBoots and Jockstar are still in with an outside chance but need a really good couple of weeks

Don't know which I think we played the best. First leg against Bayern or that stellar performance last night. Every single one of them played exceptional. Can't believe the transformation of Grealish this season. -

I speak for every City fan. I am on City forums and know City fans. We all think the PL title is the one. CL is the cherry on top. Full stop And that wasn't a City fan. It was your second nic And Pep was saying that the PL title is harder over the duration. The CL is a knock out that can be decided by a fluke or bad reffing decision. The PL is over 38 games. -

Fine with banter but that attempt at a troll was pretty lame. Even by your standards
