    Best to get tested...could be only clymidia (sp) or both If you are having unprotected sex getting a syphilis test and HIV test is an excellent idea. I have a buddy in Canada...74 years old got syphilis twice in the last year...It go quite common again in some circles.

    Toilets here come with a collar of very dark caulk that Thais rarely use . Absolutely great for plugging gaps and easy to remove.See if you can find some. I ve been using 8 years ,left over from when house built..never dries out. Plugged a small hole in 2500 litre water tank and hasn't leaked a drop.

    Putting a,wet towel on a bed with a fan is a great way to cool down.I ve often used a damp towel as a blanket for that reason.My wife( farang )hates it .Same as when I don't really dry myself thoroughly after a shower and let the fan do the job and cool me at the same time.

    I had my gallbladder removed a couple months ago in McCormick Hospital excellent service.two nights in ward Cost under 75,000 baht. Fancy hospitals wanted up to 3 times that amount...often same surgeons etc working in different hospitals
