Putting a,wet towel on a bed with a fan is a great way to cool down.I ve often used a damp towel as a blanket for that reason. My wife( farang )hates it .Same as when I don't really dry myself thoroughly after a shower and let the fan do the job and cool me at the same time.

I had my gallbladder removed a couple months ago in McCormick Hospital excellent service.two nights in ward
Cost under 75,000 baht.
Fancy hospitals wanted up to 3 times that amount...often same surgeons etc working in different hospitals

I suspect nothing annoys tourists more than sitting down for a nice late lunch at 2.01 pm and being told sorry you can't have a glass of wine or a cold beer with your meal.

My take on this is that understanding how IQ tests results are assessed is very complicated and if you don't understand how it works you best keep quiet.

One of the best things for kidney health is ....water..drink lots of it ....and a can of beer everyday to give you kidneys a good flush ... Sheryl may not agree with the last suggestion but I did get my doctor to agree that a beer with enough water to compensate for the diuretic effect of beer might not be bad .

Have to say having the largest private tech and data collection enterprises collaborating with police forces is a scary concept

Double your daily water intake..
No amount of fibre will help or stool softeners will make much difference if you are not very very well hydrated...

From what you indicate you might have enough dosh to qualify for a LTR visa. Worth speaking to a lawyer/agent to see if that's possible...It's a better deal if you do .

I looked up the meaning of within three days...even though both of us are native English speakers...but it did settle the argument... even better I was right.

I had an upper GI scope and a colonoscopy at the centre of excellence in Chiang Mai about a year ago approx 25 k I was sedated to the point I have no memory of the procedure .Unless you have a good reason not to,I would get both ends scoped .
McCormick will probably be cheaper.
Government hospitals cheaper than McCormick I would expect .

It depends on the clinic..Our local hospital can do them for under 10k baht but one of the fancy clinics could be anywhere from 25 k to 50k or more.
My wife ( farang) started to have it done locally ,as it turned out her molar had exceptionally long root and they couldn't complete the procedure because there equipment wasn't long enough and had to be finished in a clinic in CM about 30 k all in . Unrelated but somehow relevant I had my gall bladder removed a couple months ago .I shopped around and was quoted prices fro 70,000 to 200,000 baht at private hospitals. Was told it could be as cheap as 15,000 at government hospital.Surgery and care was excellent.
Surgeon used a one incision technique.Cant even see a scar .

I live at 1000 m above sea level in Chiang mai province. We grow bananas ,mulberry guava, mango, limes, kafir limes lemon, papaya, passionfruit, pomelo occassional pineapple, This is either from trees that were on the property or from what we planted starting 8years ago. ,That list is what has actually produced fruit.
In the list of things we are waiting to fruit are Macademia, avocado, oranges, jack fruit, coconut palm,
We planted several breadfruit a year ago ,but all but one died due to an extremely cold January all but three night were in the single digits this year. The survivor lost all its leaves but has sprouted new ones .
Vegetables ;several types of beans for eating green and drying ,lettuce (several varieties ,no iceberg) pak choy swiss chard ,kale , pak canna ,tomatoes, several varieties of tomatiloes or husk tomatoes, sweet poatoes. Various types of chili peppers, herbs (italian basil struggles to survive the rainy season as do other mediteranean herbs probably do better under some rain protection,Thai basil ,lemon grass.rose mary parsley cilantro, cardoman, Its much more challenging to grow in the tropics than first imagined, more pests, long dry season, poor soil quality, and high heat and humidity.hope this helps
