Please note: No discussion whatsoever on His Majesty in a political context and no speculation on any other aspect of His Majesty or other members of the Royal Family.

    Thank-you.

Do what the Bangkok Post did from the outset - The discussion board on this article has been turned off, because commenting on the above issue may cause legal dispute.

  2. Why is the UN talking to a Thai government delegation? The Thai government has no say in the matter.

The allegations involve the Thai military and the Thai military does not answer to the Thai government.

The UN should be directing its questions at the supreme commander of the Thai military as he is the one in charge and the only one who can order his troops to cease and desist from torture if there is torture taking place.

What allegations are you rambling about? and don't the police factor in this whatsoever? Do you only read the headlines of each article before making a complete fool out of yourself every time you post.

  3. Any supporters of Sutheps uprising are backers of a civil war. The blood will be on the hands of people like you who cant see that we have arrived at a point in history where there is 'no going back'. There is no more lets forgive and forget, which suits the elites that carry out horrendous act like Thammasat and 92. Nobody is backing down here...Thaksin has everything to gain and nothing to lose..... The amart (with its links to members in high placess) has everything to lose. Suthep needs to get the army out to gain control, he will orchestrate any heinous crime to fufil civil unrest amongst factions. How people see Thaksin as the man throwing grenades is beyond normal peoples belief, he is in control (regardless of being convicted by a corrupt judiciary installed by a junta) he was voted in democratically.

Give this land over to Suthep and his band 'of good men' is like stepping back into the dark ages. If you know why he wants it now, right now you will understand why the NACC is pushing forward with Yinglucks case while leaving others in the 'in tray' for 2 years. If article 7 of the constitution is envoked and some body is hand picked to be PM with royal degree do not believe this seal of approval will appease the people.

The time is here there is no going back in to their boxes. Support Suthep and you support Civil War

Not another soap box red and you wouldn't believe it, had to use that sophisticated word again; amart. Got to give it to them there smart red boys, they have all the answers, must be why the country is in good shape.

It is possible if "you dont just get spoon fed' your info to find out who the amart are, their inter relationships, their children, their business interests etc. The Suthep sympathisers present on TV either jest about the word 'amart' because they really do know jack sh1t about Thailand or they know fully the meaing of the word in which case they are using this forum to goad people because a full response from a 'red terrorist' will see him locked up for maybe 15 years. Me thinks the first option.

Don't preach Thailand to me junior, I have had an association with this country since coming to Thailand in 1971 and marrying. I reside here in a red village, and now retired and have no colour persuasion whatsoever but dislike the Shins and cohorts with a passion for what they stand for and what they have done to the country and the people.. It appears from your rhetoric of which is a little hard to absorb that you are still wet behind the ears and have many many things to learn about Asia in general.

  4. i seem to remember this lad was caught cheating in his university exam?

You remember a lie that was promoted in an effort to destroy a young man's life.

His crime was having notes related to a different subject in his possession. Those documents were seized at the time and reviewed by the university.

The university stated that the documents were not related to the exam and he was cleared of the accusation.

    Why repeat what is untrue?

Gee! you really have got it bad, the hots for the Reds that is. Take an aspirin and lie down you will do permanent damage trying to spin every anti red comment.

  6. "Did you notice that on April 24, the Daily News was the only paper that published a photo of police being detained at the PDRC haeng Wattana rally site on its front page," Chalerm said.

"And the PDRC was affected by the report. I won't say who did it but I would like you to think about it."

I don't normally agree with Chalerm, but his assessment on this is spot on.

What he needs to do however, is stop the endless threats and arrest these PDRC scumbags who have been butchering the country in two for the last few months.

Your assessment has as much merit as your IQ. Keep squeezing those lemons.

What is wrong with his assessment? If suthep had done what he said he would do at the beginning none of this would be going on right now. get your facts straight and maybe just maybe check your IQ.

Which one of you two wears the dress?

  7. CAPO has made what is clearly a political statement that demonstrates that its role and goals are political - as such funding should be stoped as the government is in a caretaker mode and using public funds to finance election activates is not lawful.

CAPO has also clearly stated that they have authority and power above the NACC and CC by trying to direct them in what they do and how they should do it - that is contempt of the Charter and the courts.

All the statement does is confirm what most already knew about the organisation and membership - the law is only a tool for them to use and abuse for political goals

CAPO did not say they have authority over the NCC or CC. They merely suggest that they act within the confines of their authority and treat the PM fairly. Was that too much to request? (Probably)

The problem being is that fairly to them means exonerating her of all these charges and anything else she does illegal.

  8. Nicely explained in that article. Even a dyed in the wool red head could follow that

No, not Fryslan boppe It is too simple for him, he will dissect it and rearrange it to suit his BDP (http://www.borderlinepersonalitytoday.com/main/anon.htm)

    He's a lost cause.

He's the equivalent of Thaksin's bald cat

The bopper's got you guys talking to yourselves which is good cause coup the more you post to one another coup the more you are distracted from the fight. A coup is a coup is a coup. biggrin.png

I don't know what your on but it must make your day & night a lot different to the normal person.

  9. A very sad day for his family, I just hope this doesn't follow the norm whereby the contractor gets away scot free after they offer up their fall guy. Here we have two incidents of unavoidable death, the other being the young lad electrocuted. Interested to see if any media follows these two cases through and furnish all the details from go to woe thus exerting a little pressure so that justice prevails. Doubt it though, as the media in Thailand are a self serving bunch of parasites and as useless as teets on a bull.

Amazes me how they arrest all these highly wanted people from other countries, but yet when it comes to their own or a tourist is in need they are deaf dumb and blind.

I think all these arrests of foreigners, must come from tip offs...plus there's likely a bounty involved maybe.

But yes.....why can't they be so diligent with the locals??

I guess by tip offs u mean other agency's ,if so U R right . Thai police , special branch plus secret service couldn't find a brothel in a desert.

Are there many brothels in deserts?. rolleyes.gifwhistling.gif

    No, only ugly camels.

  11. As regular as clockwork the printed media have entered the fray to steer the ship of discontent.. When these immoral and unethical leeches get a sniff of anything that they believe could adversely affect their circulation, they crank up the propaganda machine. They start their rumour mongering with articles called 'burning issues', 'editorials' or 'a must read' to name but a few and always with unnamed authors. Their aim is to keep the mass audience embroiled in argument over a particular or series of events that has been a hot news item but coming to end or outcome.

The beginning of the end has commenced with the anti government protests with Yingluck and possibly all her cohorts going down and out and Suthep winding up the protests and seeing a favourable end to his means. So what does the media do, start gentle but persuasive indoctrination with innuendos, distorted facts and in instances blatant lies, all in the name of money. One only has to look at how many TVF members take the bait with their nonsensical postings and if to call which group in particular, the 'REDS' win hands down.

Journalists could play a large part in circumventing much of this current situation with good old fashion investigative reporting. The people need to be told the truth and the criminals need to be exposed to the public. By aiding and abetting all these corrupt cretins for the sake of the profit lines in itself makes them lowest of the lowest. To the public, editors should be treated like the children they are, seen but not heard.
