  1. With all the constant changes it has turned into the worst airline website I have ever used. Nothing ever works. I am completely stressed and aggravated eery time I buy flights and almost alway have to go through agoda. that does not help you though because you can't add suitcases though agoda. I am sure you can add suitcases but Air Asia website SUCKS. Good luck.
  2. Thanks, but after spending about 5 hours working through the broken Thai postal website, written in a foreign language, in order to pay a measly $3 to get my U.S. passport renewal returned to me, I was able to get through the system when it started working again. There has to be a better way. If I were rating this method of payment, it would be very poor. Thank You.
  3. Hello, I am trying to renew my passport and have completed my application and paid my $130 fee but cannot purchase a 100 baht Courier Pass Back envelope from the Thailand Postmart System. When I scan the Q code on the application,or follow any of the links on the Bangkok Embassy website for the Courier Pass Back I am always directed to the attached a page that shows the 404 error code. I do seem to able to access other parts of the site and even pay for the same Courier Pass Back but to the Chiang Mai Embassy not Bangkok. I see that all passport applications in Thailand must go through Bangkok so am afraid that would not work. After hours of trying to pay for this service including contacting The Thailand Postmart System and the Thai Post Office no one seems to know anything about it or how to pay for this service. I need to renew my passport and am at my wits end. Is any one else experiencing these problems with the wesite I have attached both the webpages I get when I try to purchase this service. Thank You for any input or help.
  4. Certificate of residency is free in Hua Hin immigration if you put the application in on the first floor with the information desk and wait a week. I think you need passport photo and 1 or two copies from passport. I picked mine up last week.
  5. I was just reading about this and bookmarked the webpage before the postman arrived 15 minutes later and delivered the letter to both myself and my neighbor, We are in Hua Hin and the letter was dated June 6. I will send it back regular airmail. thanks
  6. Your right, it suck just as bad looking at it from the car.
  7. It's not that I haven't enjoyed riding my motorcycle for over 70,000 kilometers. it's just that I can no longer stand to look at the heaps of roadside plastic, open dumping, and abandoned soi dogs everywhere I go. I live in a spotless Moo Baan in Hua Hin but that all end the second I leave the gate. For me all this litter has really sucked the charm out of Thailand along with a piece of my soul. For now I will use the car and drive way faster in an attempt to no see the reality of where I call home.
  8. Yes I checked my stocks today. Index Funds 80% Stocks 20% Bonds Up $200,866 in the last two years about 38%
  9. I understand the U.S. social security is not taxed in Thailand but I have a question about reporting Social Security funds remitted into Thailand. Do they need to be reported anywhere on the tax return in Thailand. I am keeping my records about where the Social Security comes from and when how it is transferred into Thailand. I would emit both my Social security from the U.S. via wire transfer, and also remit assessable income from a separate account.
  10. I couldn't agree with you more. I am here with my wife and son and honestly consider my time here and absolute waste. Paying some taxes here is one thing, but I don't even enjoy being here for free.

    Mac Book Air.

    Thanks for that also.
  12. Much more of a monthly income to support my wife, son, and myself. If I could afford it I would pack up and leave here immediately.
  13. I don't know about the "best but it is very easy to change at any jewelry store or places in the hood. Just ask at your hotel. they are also not very pickey about marked up bill ect. If you are staying by the beach you can exchange with the motorcycle rental guy in front of Samatha Apartment and hotel. His rate was better than daily rate on internet and his rental bikes are in very good condition.I would pass on staying at the hotel.. It's very easy to change money but you can compare rates before a large exchange. Forget the banks
