It is time to renew my son's US passport. I'd prefer not to take the mother to the US Embassy BKK, and per https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/minor-passport-renew/ I can use form DS-3053 to indicate her consent, and that "A DS-3053 can be notarized by appointment at the U.S. Embassy (free-of-charge), or by a Thai notary public." The form is in English, only. Has anyone used a "Thai notary public"? Does every Ampur office have them? Any other suggestions / comments would be appreciated. TIA
