It is heartening to see that the family behibd him 100% to stay in the race and keep fighting. They know him better in terms of his mental capabilities and it was a resounding endorsement of him. Also notable is that top democrats stand united and urging the party to stand behind Biden. Key Democrat leaders vehemently reject calls for Biden to drop out of the race.This is the kind of party unity that will argurs well for the remaining 4 months of campaigning. They are re-energized, the supporters are not fazed by the debate disappointment and the donors recognized that Biden can still beat Trump.

Yes I was surprised by his turnaround. The debate was indeed a blip a one-off. He was at his normal best in his rallies. Voters will ultimately vote for person with the policies for the people and someone with the right temperament and good character. Trump lacking in all those key elements.

As much as I wish for 2 better candidates, I agree that it is much too late to change course. The delegates are locked in for both and they will received their support at their respective party convention. All Biden's replacement s like Whitmer, Newsome and Shipiro have pledged their support and will not change. Biden's fund raising machinery is hard to be replaced. Only him alone can made the decision if he want to carry on and he has shown no sign that he is backing off. This debate is a one-off event and will be forgotten . It is still 6 months away and too soon to made any election conclusion.

Reasonable enough to say that Trump brought nothing new to the debate. His usual and predictable rallies talking points. We expect lies, falsehoods and those hard to follow disquisitions that are part of the Maga ecosystem which he resides and only his ardent supporters understand. Biden was dissapointing. He can do so much better if he didn;t have the cold.

I hope both don't get their respective nomination. I see the debate between an old man and a con man.

You have been sleeping too long. Race wars has a long and bloody legacy in USA. In the middle east, insane and medieval race wars have been raging throught history. The ideology of Iran and its allies for the destruction of Isreal will not leave the middle-east in peace for the unforseeable future. Russia invasion of Ukraine is a race war. More worrisome in USA is the battle line drawn by the rightwing christine movement that may start a race war.

Women put Joe Biden in the White House 4 years ago and will do that again in November. The "Women for Biden-Harris'campaign has been receiving resounding positive response since the First lady kick it off in Feb. Kamal Harris has been a very effective speaker in the campaign tour. Trump meanwhile is taking away women rights and freedom and boasting about this. The election is slipping away from Trump.
