  1. Saw a footage by Brian Shapiro of thousands leaving the Nevada rally in the middle of Trump's speech. Bored or perhaps bother by the heat? Certainly not provocateurs in those large numbers. Doesn't augur well for the campaign organizer and the monotonous repetitive speech.
  2. The Georgia State University Convocation Center in Atlanta was filled to the rafters. The seating capacity in the stadium's website qouted 8,000 and 10,000 people turned up. The upper levels were all filled up unlike Trump's rallies where there were many empty seats on the podium level and empty upper floors. The energy was high with consistent cheering and chanting to lock him up. All were kept engaged throughtout the rally. Quite a different with the Trump's rallies with supporters bored and leaving in the middle of his speech. Challenge was thrown to Trump to debate which he wouldn't have the guts. Star powers were there and Georgia dynamo Starcey Abrams delivered. The deficit in Georgia polls have now been narrowed to a dead tie. With the second wave momentum at the DNC and running mate announcement, things are looking super for the Dems to keep Georgia blue.
  3. Maga is fracturing. White dudes for Hariss and Haley voters for Hariss are just the begining of the movement out of Maga which will gain momentum. Evangelical leaders like Franklin Graham has not endorsed Trump even though he was in RNC. GOP political leaders like border mayor John Giles is the latest Republicans to crossed party line to back Kamala and rebuke Trump's extremism. He is calling the Maga talking point of the "border crisis' a big bs. As polls tanked further for Trump, we can expect more Republicans to have the courage to step forward to rebuke Trump. Kamala is energizing the election campaign displaying leadership while Trump is still stuck in his groove with the same old fear, hate and incoherent speech. If he see no election pathway, I fear Trump to go scorch earth.
  4. Democrats should consider using Fred Trump labelling of uncle Trump as 'atomic crazy'. That's another level of craziness.
  5. There was fury by his faithful supporters who called for riots and violent retribution before the verdict and when the verdict was handed down; nothing of that sort happen. Supporters even how stupid will not invest their life for him. A small bump of support from his loyals after the conviction but then receded back as days waned. The conviction will cost Trump support. As for the Dems, they just fold their arms and watch the trainwreck of Trump. Kamala will hasten the trainwreck and eventual derailment in November.
  6. No said the majority of Americans. The verdict by jury of his peers was correct and will affect his electability.
  7. And help regain the trust and confidence of the Supreme Court. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/new-poll-shows-majority-of-americans-believe-supreme-court-justices-put-ideology-over-impartiality
  8. So true that Trump is high risk as regars to geopolitical tension. His previous election caused the Doomsday Clock to move forward by 30 seconds which is closer to imminent period at any point in the last 64 years. Trump is seen as an undisciplined and disruptive President and backing away from its long standing leadership role in the world. He was also seen as controversial working to undo policies and not addressing the climate change issue. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/26/doomsday-clock-closer-to-midnight-in-wake-of-donald-trump-election
  9. I don’t really understand your broad terms for good and bad. If it’s crime that you are concerned, study have found that immigrants commit less crimes than US born. Immigrants undertake high risks to come to US for a better life and less likely to commit crime. The bipartisan bill allow for more resources to process the legibility of immigrants and reduce the number of illegals. Stopping the bill indirectly increase the number of illegals. Employing the illegals is against the law whether you rich or poor. Benefit no one but the rich dudes have their means to avoid the law like Trump.
  10. Let’s clear the myth about open border which Trump used to scare the people. Open border suggest that anyone can get into US without much hassle. The reality is that the southern border is more fortified than it’s ever been. Illegals don’t have the authorisation to work. You should know that or don’t you. As for legal immigrants, you can read for yourself what role they play for the over well being of the US economy. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2020/06/10/a-majority-of-americans-say-immigrants-mostly-fill-jobs-u-s-citizens-do-not-want/
  11. It’s 5,000 average a week that will trigger a shut down. US has a labour shortage problem. 7 in 10 employers unable to find suitable employees for their job vacancies. Most are jobs that UA citizens doesn’t want. The bipartisan bill will provide solutions which Trump killed.
  12. MLK fought for right to vote, desegregation, labor rights and other basic civil rights. If he is alive today, he will agree with those who called for a cease fire and a 2 states solution.
  13. Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michele Obama, 2 most popular Democrats have endorsed Kamala Harris adding more firepower to the next 3 months campaigning. Now the Democrat base are energized to come out to vote which meant trouble for Trump's election chances. https://apnews.com/article/barack-obama-endorses-kamala-harris-joe-biden-48e38547560ae64484399d278c697a7a
  14. He also said America is a stupid country and his MAGA followers nod their heads in unison. Jesus wept.
  15. There is one thing that Trump promised and kept i.e. won't commit to peaceful transfer of power.
  16. Same old rally speech not without his favourite line about Hannibal Hector that bored his supporters to leave. His party seek an image overhaul and proclaimed that Trump was a changed man after the shooting but alas it is the same old same old Trump with his tired incoherent speech.
  17. You are confusing yourself with a party procedure and the constitution. Whatever float your boat gaslighting.
  18. The taxes from the rich which Trump gave away will more than pay for the welfare of the people. Middle class was decimated under Trump big tax cuts for the rich. He brag about ending abortion but too coward to do it himself and leave the burden to the states https://newrepublic.com/post/183227/trump-biden-debate-roe-v-wade-abortion-rollback
  19. I see you haven't see or read her first rally speech in Milwaukee. Allaying your concerns regarding her vision for a better America, she outline her government to be people focus of their needs, commitment to affordable health care, childcare and paid family leave, oulining a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. She also addressed the need for stricter gun control measures and pledged to work towards ending gun violence and keeping communities safe. Also touched on abortion and support for reproductive freedom. Small protion of speech devoted to Trump and looking forward to put her record against him any day of the week. Next.
  20. Admirable that you stand up for democracy. I will take it that you stand up for democracy in this election and previous election or just a matter of selective gaslighting.
  21. Doesn't bother me. Harris can beat Trump all I matter. Is there a quivering in your post that Harris will beat Trump.
  22. I meant no disrespect to you. What I am saying given the history of primaries for Presidential candidate, your knowledge is shallow. There were no primaries prior to 1972. Then it was brokered conventions before 1972. Will that mean that US weren't a democracy until 1972 ? Most other developed countries do not have primaries. Are they undemocratic? This is just Rep talking point that has little merit.
  23. Your comprehension of the matter is abysmal.
  24. This question has been going around the Republican camp that voters have been disenfranchised by this switch. No they are wrong. Voters in the primary cast ballots for delegates to the convention who were pledged to Biden but who are now 'unbound'by Biden withdrawal That will allow them to vote for another person at the DNC. Fully within the law. The SC has held that political parties control the nominating process, and they are entitled to manage how they arrive at a nominee. So far 2,688 Democratic delegates have moved swiftly to say that they will vote Harris at the DNC. She only need 1,976 delegates on the first ballot to secure the Democratic nomination. It will be a young intelligent Harris versus a very old cogntive challenged Trump.
  25. AOC has endorsed Kamala Harris for president. She is with the party decision to unite against the country to defeat DT's threat to American democracy. Do keep up.
