  1. Hi I'm in need of a partial or full denture for my upper jaw.I googled and rates are from 7000 -20000 for  a full denture upper jaw.

No idea why the price difference.Does anyone has good experience with a dentist in Pattaya who also gives you a correct bill?

The search function here is not really helpful,if  I  search for Pattaya dentist all kind of posts come up except Pattaya dentists.

Israel started the war in 1948. This is just the latest battle in the war.

Why should other Arab states take them as refugees? They have their own land to live on, or they would if israelis didn't keep stealing it.

Totally bulls, the arab league invaded after Israel announced independence. Before that the palestines were asked to share the land with Israel but they wanted the israelis out,how about that?

I had a partial denture done at Ram Hospital dental clinic in Chiang Mai many years ago. Still fits perfectly.

An Australian dentist commented the denture was very good quality.

    Not cheap, IIRC 110,000 baht.

You get a full denture for 10000 or less for each jaw why partial is soooooooooooooooo expensive?

So if we have a Thai savings account and we do NOT want an automatic 15% tax deduction taken on all inflows of cash, what exactly is this advice that WE have to give our bank?  Tell them to ALLOW or to NOT ALLOW the TRD to have access to our account data?  It sounds like we need to ALLOW (is this correct?) so they will NOT take out 15% each time, but this video only causes me stress and confusion.  If they take out 15%, then we HAVE to get a TIN and file to get it back!  (assume this account is 100% unaccessable and is not required to file)  The point is to avoid filing when the money is non-assessable (and thus non-taxable) and not be FORCED to file just to get our 15% withholding back!  This lawyer says "may" and "will see what happens" WAY too much in this discussion.

I think at one point everyone what stays more than 180 days will need a TIN,probaly checked or asked for at extension of stay starting from 2025,just a thought

I haven't seen recent reports, but it's probably unlikely that they would issue those visas back to back.

As the financial proof you need to submit would enable you to apply for an extension at immigration, they might well question why you don't do that instead.

Probably because he does'nt want to deal with Thai immigration I would fully understand that.If they would give out 1 year visa again I would stop that immigration nonsense too.

  6. I came back from Italy Jan2nd tried online report last week 2 times, but without success.Last monday I went to immigration Sriracha to do my 90days report in person and asked why it didn't work online for me,

Answer was"Everytime you leave Thailand and re enter you need to come to immigration and do your report here after that online reporting will work normal"

I  guess immigration offices make up their own rules

I don’t have a favourite as such but currently I’m enjoying watching Tread the Globe.

A down to earth Brit couple who sold up and went to travel round the world in their van “ Trudy “.

80,000 km to date and this month they are in Thailand, a particular favourite as they honeymooned here 25 years ago, and stopping at various places on their way back home.

Obviously they are discovering things here that we have known for a long time but interesting their outlook and reactions.

I watch them too, like you said nice couple but I think they don't prepare good enough. Some stuff what happened to them(Thai documents car, entry to China) could be easily avoided with google,on the other hand since they travel 4 years already without major issues, maybe they do everything right.I liked their Malaysia trip from their videos it looks like Malaysians are friendly people, and Malaysia looks much cleaner than Thailand.

Comparing with Thai people is meaningless and gives you more stress.  All foreigners must behave, and the slightest deviation must be dealt with harshly. The gall of these people travelling 10,000 miles to find a life and women in some cases that they could not find in their home country and then behaving rudely with the locals because the locals can go scot free for the same behavior. What a stupid arguments. Locals did not travel 10,000 miles to find their life and love in a foreign land. If foreigners are not dealt harshly for the slightest inappropriate behavior, it will cause chaos, and foreigners will go berserk in Thailand, as evidenced by their postings on YouTube, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

I agree to a minumum, not all foreigner from western countries in Thailand are like that.I don't think majority of western foreigner come to Thailand because of woman,in these times they probably here to find an affordable life where the pension lasts until end of the month,.Locals don't travel 10000 miles because they don't get a visa and I assume western woman are not really interested in 165cm Somchai without money.

    Hi everybody,

I need some help and will try to spell it out.

I am awaiting a UK Visitor Visa for my Thai GF.  I am 81 & GF is 50.  We are going to my daughter's wedding in May & will be in UK for a month.  I am aware it is possible to overstay one's welcome at my daughters' houses so thought I would give everyone a break whilst I have a week's holiday in Spain.

Is there a site like VFS which I found to be very helpful for the UK Visa?  I've been on a number of pages - the application looks to be 4 pages long.  I filled it in but unlike the UK one you could not return to it so I lost all the inputted data.

I have been told if we leave for Spain we void the UK visa & need some sort of re-entry permit for her?

After collecting 47pages of material for the UK visa, I was hoping to attend an office to submit the completed application form & all the supporting documents but do not know where to go.

Anyone been through the process recently, as I need some guidance.

    Thanks in advance.

You go to the website of Spanish Embassy in Thailand,I guess you need an appointment for Schengen visa
