  2. a bit confused as to how it works, i will be the new owner this week, of a scooter, last owner taxed the bike until January next year, i see in the paperwork she paid 800 baht for insurance, pretty sure its not transferable (or is it) my question is am i insured under the third party gov risk as the bike is taxed, (i wont have any paperwork to confirm this) or do i have to pop along to the (mot) garage to apply for new cover

  3. now that all of Pattaya and Jomtien is being dug up, with traffic mayhem everywhere, a question springs to mind, which is more cost effective as a road surface , concrete or tarmac, ? ok i know they are laying pipelines etc in some places, but Jomiten second road, this has been going on for ever, i remember back in the uk years ago they resurfaced 3  road in 3 days, using tarmac

  4. i read valid doctors certificate not older than one day,how bloody stupid is that, so imagine one is off to the airport, how the heck does one get to see a doctor, got to give notice in the uk, (like i am gonna be sick next week i want to book a doctor) ok not sure about other countries , so you drag your suitcases along to the doctors get your cert, then bus or transport to the airport then <deleted> i  have missed my flight, and now you have got to do this all again as your certificate is invalid lol

  5. that is a preposterous sum , 100,000 dollars , i just checcked and that is 3,106,000 over 3 million baht, how the hell is some poor thai worker going to find the money to pay the premium ,just to get home, would be interesting to know what in fact the premium would be, edit ! (just read 14, to 15,000 baht) and no way would they run up 3 million baht hospital fees,  another rip off, like having to 40,000 baht for outpatient cover, when my friend had two skin cancer treatments that ccost him 6000 baht.

  6. just a thought how will it affect you, personally, ie travel plans, hotels booked, its just the things we never get to hear about, (everyone has got a story to tell) i know guys who booked hotels a year ago, will they get reimbursed ? so whats your thoughts on this,
