  1. come to Thailand and stay indoors bet you are a bundle of laughs, if we knew what the next 5 minute would bring we would spend it wisely, your life is mapped out for you no matter what you think. just look at the poor english guy who died at midnight, checking out what he thought was a dud firework, R.I.P. even as a kid we were taught, *never go back to a firework, that has not gone off* these damn things are like hand grenades

  2. how about pubs ripping off farangs with this christmas dinner lark, dearer then the UK  at £25, i can understand the UK price as Christmas Day in the UK is a public holiday, and have to pay staff double, so what is their excuse here as this day is just an ordinary day in Thailand, my mate bougfht a Turkey for £15 said to feed 11, wont catch me eating a bit of turkey for that price. there again if the fools want to pay these prices , best of luck to them, its just a 200 baht sunday lunch with a few extras

  4. well a Honda Steed showed up at my condo in the back of a truck, to say it had ben neglected was an understatement, ok , i dont mind a bit of work, it had a moth eaten green book, when i asked about road tax, *oh it no have road tax for 4 years* just about summed up the owner so i would have to pay 5 years tax before we started. that was enough for me. my . friendly thai interpretor, said she did no like him, (shifty) was her words, then he tried to do a deal. but by then  it was ,  NO DEAL as they say.

  5. just a heads up to any parents buying remote controlled toys in TESCO, on the box it says , CHARGER and BATTERIES INCLUDED,  well there is NO charger or batteries inside, just the normal space for batteries, i am posting this just so there are no disappointed kids on christmas day, i opened the box so i could charge the non existant batteries for a friends boy. i will pop into Tesco later to inform them . the reason i bought this item was so that her child did not have to have an endless stream of AA batteries to mess about with, and while i am on that subject , the batteries here seem to be absolute poo, Happy Christmas to all
