I hope they don't get too cocky and suggest that phase 3 be put on hold.
Yeah but I would feel much better with them tracking down where in the world this dude came down with the virus.
He caught it and was spreading it just outside of Bangkok.
I don't want any of his kin or people he was in contact with standing next to me on the Skytrain.

It amazes me how bad the reporting is from the Nation and BP. It's like an 7th grader's assignment that was done at the last moment and turned in for a 'C'
A post-article investigation needs to be pieced together from multiple sources every day.

Very well done Thailand.
Oh yeah, what about tests? how many tests? they are hiding <deleted>
I will not be satisfied until the entire population is tested. It's so easy to hide 20,000 dead bodies

Good.
Now do something about the <deleted> BTS. The operator is shirking responsibility by not adding any trains while taking away half the seats. This just forces people to stand closer to each other aside from the 4 people that get to sit. Idiotic.
Government needs to force the Bangkok Mass Transit System to put more trains on the track to make social distancing even remotely possible.

Everybody on here fawns over Thailands 'response' to this epidemic, but the US for example tests this much PER DAY. The fact that people still pop up with the rona after days of not having any local cases means the virus is still floating around the population.
All Thailand ever did was wait around for people to report to the hospital sick, on top of which had convoluted criteria for testing the sick person. For months people could have died of viral pneumonia and not even been counted.
This would have been a terrific point in early April. Thais run to the hospital at the first sign a drip of snot is out of place. We would have been seeing this 'floating around the population' by now.

Why ridicule people for asking a good question when said question remains unanswered?
Still true that not revealing the number tested makes the report of numbers of positives not very valid. The fact that people like the number being reported doesn't make it any more valid.
dont think it was ridicule for a good question, more that the question is asked 5000 times on every post ????
Additionally, the "yeah but how many were tested" question was much more valid, and the same one I was asking, in March. With each passing month you don't mass test. You trace, target, then test.
Are there unknown pockets out there? Yes for sure. That's what the lockdown is for, to keep them from importing cases into large centers like Bangkok.
I'm frankly surprised how the numbers Bangkok are so vastly different from NYC.

I saw one assignment for P5 students where they’re asked to prostrate in front of their parents or guardian, etc. Pics of prostration will earn extra points. Apparently prostration will bring happiness and success. I’ll be sure to tell my missus when she gets home from work.
Speaking of which, I'm due for getting one of those checks. Does a doc checking your prostrate also bring happiness and success?

They'd all been in contact with a known infected person and so were already under quarantine, nothing to worry about.
Where did you see this part? I was concerned as Nonthaburi is basically Bangkok
