  1. R.I.P. Joe, you helped loads of us through visa stuff
  2. In Phetchabun the Big C is very quiet, (Lotus's with cinema next door) but was never too busy before Covid, only one food outlet in the food court open, they have even stopped the ticket system, the kiddies 'annoyingly loud' play area has been replaced by a bedding department. Lots of car parking though!
  3. I do not want to hijack this OP discussion, but can the experts tell me if I can install a hard drive onto a 3BB router, as a network drive, and what is the password for a 3BB router if I need to change any settings?
  4. Used it at the end of January, lots of spaces, under cover, free bus every 15mins (or so), keep your ticket safe.
  5. You may not be right with this comment, I get it at the local village market, in a plastic bag, always next to the chicken feet, and very good it is too.
  6. My daily ride is an old Nissan 4x4 truck, beaten and faded with noisy engine / exhaust, which occasionally blows black smoke, mainly when just starting. Never had a problem at the test! Just try a different test station
  7. I've got a car parked there now, plenty of covered spaces, be back for it on next Monday, expect 140/day. Shuttle bus only took 10 mins to get to terminal after a 15min wait!
  8. 3BB. Negligible issues, very fast and efficient service if there is a problem, good price, good speed.
  9. I have a Mitsui 1.1kW downhole pump, it hangs around 52meters down, working great for around 3 years. But now it trips the RCBO in the distribution board! I got the installers in to service the pump, and they ran it in a water tank for 30mins, no problems. when it was put back into the borehole it was still tripping the RCBO, they of course blamed the RCBO / Control panel/ anything but the pump! It seems the water level in the borehole is much higher than past years (tide mark on the pipes) and the electrical joint was under water, this was remade, no difference, still the same. I have now lifted the pump up up to 44 meters, so the cable joint is out of the borehole and made the connection in a junction box but it is still tripping. Is it possible that the static head of water is too much for the electrical sealing system on the motor? ie the pump is now totally immersed in at least 30meter of water? Does anyone know the 'hydrostatic' rating of these pumps (I think that is the right term)
  10. Did a transfer this morning into Kbank, 6 seconds!
  11. Use pump timer control panel (many available, search on Lazada) and adapt to how many circuits you need!
  12. I am still using my first gen Kindle, great for 'thep*rateb*y.org' content, when travelling I use a Samsung Tab2, also great, but a little heavier than the Kindle.
  13. Too many brown envelopes have been filled, there is not enough money left to do the job!!

    True vs 3BB

I had 3bb fibre for years, then for family reasons, out of my control, transferred to True. Only lasted until the contract ran out and back to 3BB, poor customer service and 'dropouts' although very fast speed! Took a couple of days to get them to 'fix' the 3BB to my satisfaction (slowing down for random hours a day) but now very happy with service. (Muang Phetchabun)
  15. Even if they did, do you all really think the price of fuel at the pumps would go down, or the profits be shared amongst the people?
  16. Correct, it would only read the head difference between the gauge and the outlet
  17. There will be no significant reading if pumping to an open ended pipe!
