Thailand's E-Cigarette Users Call for Ban Review Amid Rising Numbers
How exactly is the logic twisted? Vapes are less harmful than cigarettes, as confirmed by multiple studies. Cigarettes remain legal and available. Vapes containing harmful substances are clearly dangerous and the cause of most immediate medical cases. Since they are currently sold in a black market, nobody is controlling or checking the e-liquids for these harmful substances. It's a no-brainer, really: legalise them with strict quality controls and let adults choose themselves which method they wish to use for inhaling nicotine.

Police Bust ‘Black-Shadow Nana’ Drug Gang in Bangkok
Why would they go after themselves? 😂

E-Cigarette Explosion Kills 47-Year-Old Man in Thailand
This is again a direct result of vapes being illegal, same as those stories with 14-year-olds destroying their lungs etc. You don't hear these stories in Europe because they sell quality stuff instead of the Chinese crap available here locally. Legalise them with strict TIS/FDA approval for component quality and e-liquid safety.

Handle Shaking of Aerox 155
The original tyres on the Aerox are horrible and cause this even without any other issues. A rear top box can also cause this easily.

Pattaya’s Smoking Crackdown: Expats Voice Concerns
Didn't the goverment just want everyone to stop vaping and switch to "organic" cigarettes instead? Don't complain now when you get the result you wanted.

Police Raid in Saraburi Mistakenly Targets Innocent Board Game Enthusiasts
They could at least knock on the door politely. These scumbags have no limits.

Debate Erupts Over Police Chase in Helmet Incident in Bangkok
I take my earlier comments back. Looks like the rider ran a red light: https://www.facebook.com/reel/675045872020447 This completely changes the story. Someone not wearing a helmet is only dangering themselves, but red light runners are scum and deserve to get run over. That said, the police should still consider the innocent passenger.

Debate Erupts Over Police Chase in Helmet Incident in Bangkok
It says in the article it was (allegedly) not a real checkpoint.

Debate Erupts Over Police Chase in Helmet Incident in Bangkok
But allegedly, it was not a real checkpoint (as per the article).. just the usual bandits being bandits.

Debate Erupts Over Police Chase in Helmet Incident in Bangkok
It's an interesting logic: wear a helmet to protect your head in case it gets smashed to the ground. Solution: the police will try and crush your head to the ground if no helmet??

If you found 12 million baht in a box near the trash, would you keep it?
I would keep it, but not spend it for a while. For the next few months, I'd keep an eye out for any news of someone losing their cash. If I saw a story of an person losing their cash and I'd be sure it's a match, I would be honest and return the money to the rightful owner. This way, I'd be sure that if the real owner is never found, the money is not kept by someone else.

Mobile Liquor Labs Roll Out for Safer Thai Booze
Why not do the same with drugs, instead of the pointless war on them, trying to punish drug users. Focus on harm reduction and help instead, and see the results. Some countries in Europe now have mobile drug labs to test substances and advice their users on their effects and dangers.

Russian Man Arrested for Dangerous BMW Drifting Stunt on Ban Amphur Beachfront
Well, somchais driving through red lights daily don't get a similar reaction (or any reaction at all).

Thai Man Alerts Authorities After Finding Boy Smoking Under Rama VIII Bridge
Isn't this exactly what the government wanted with their crackdown against e-cigarettes? Now kids can smoke the healthy organic tobacco instead and keep bringing tax revenue for the goverment and profits for the tobacco monopoly.

Birthday Party Raid at Pool Villa Leads to Arrest of 55 Youths and Drug Seizure
The Chonburi province will be so much safer now. Well done BiB for ruining someone's birthday party.

Phuket Motorcycle Taxi Rider Criticised After Dashcam Captures Theft
I once saw a female motorbike taxi drop a stack of 100 baht bills from her pocket onto the road while riding in Bangkok. I stopped, picked them up and chased her down, which wasn't too hard on a big bike. When reaching her, I honked a bit to get her attention. She got very annoyed and pointed at the plentiful space next to her for passing. The confusion on her face was great when in response, I handed her a stack of money.

Thrill-Seeking Frenchman Arrested for Reckless Driving in Patong
True.. but those countries might be more effective at teaching them some manners.

Double-Deckers Banned from Risky Roads After Tragic Crash
I would also look at the size and shape of these massive monster buses. There is probably a reason why they are banned in Europe.

Thrill-Seeking Frenchman Arrested for Reckless Driving in Patong
I strongly recommend visiting to get first-hand experience of the severity of the multicultural failure in these countries. There are several areas in these cities where, if you walk there as a white person, you will get rocks thrown at you. During moments like these, one wonders who are the actual racists here.

Thrill-Seeking Frenchman Arrested for Reckless Driving in Patong
Well, names aside, let's be realistic: he is most likely a descendant of North-African immigrants. These people have French citizenship, but if you ask them, they usually hate France and the French with all their heart. They are wreaking havoc in the cities they've settled in and making them unlivable places that are filled with gangs and crime. So you can imagine how French people feel when they see these lovely "Frenchmen" in the news.

Thrill-Seeking Frenchman Arrested for Reckless Driving in Patong
Sounds like words from someone who has never lived in Paris or Brussels.
-
Thrill-Seeking Frenchman Arrested for Reckless Driving in Patong
These "Frenchmen" should be deported back to the countries of their grandparents. The French (and other surrounding EU countries) have had enough of them too.

Foreign Tourist Punches Thai Driver During Heated Argument in Phuket
Yeah let's see the full video and what happened before the attack. I'd be surprised if the van driver is totally innocent.

Foreign Tourist Assaulted in Phuket Old Town, Prompting Safety Concerns
This is the scrary part.. naturally for anyone seeing this you would immediately jump to help. I would too. But as a farang, you have a great risk of surrounding Thai males misinterpreting the situation and attacking you instead. If you saw the German guy who was beaten in Pattaya, some of the attackers confessed they had nothing to do with any party but just saw it and joined the beating.

What’s causing the traffic here?
A big part is also because of idiot drivers parking illegally, turning from the wrong lanes, lane hogging etc. the list goes on.
