  2. You would best be going to the eye hospital in Bangkok

    RUTNIN EYE HOSPITAL

Located in central Bangkok, Rutnin Eye Hospital is easily accessible from many routes.

80/1 Sukhumvit 21 Road (Soi Asoke), Bangkok 10110, Thailand ...

  3. Isn't it normally next to the Johny Walker Blue?

It's against the law to have Sangsom on the same self as Johny Walker Blue. Sangsom must be at least two shelves below JWB.

    Why ?

Took u long enough to grab that one.

Back home we use JW to cold start the Diesel when the temp is 10 below..

    NOT for human consumption.

  4. You provide very little information concerning your problem.

I would suggest you go to Suan Dok for advice.

You could also try McCormick Hospital and Bumrungrad in Bangkok

I would urge caution with respect to a CT scan as in some cases the radiation level can be quite high and they are often not recommended for people under 50 years of age.

  5. Had you gone to McCormick Hospital as suggested in my previous post you would have been met by the Triage Nurse who is fluent in English. She would have directed to you reception to register and then measured your blood pressure successfully. Weighed you and guided you to the appropriate clinic. Called you when the consultant was ready. Even a dumb and blind patient would have no difficulty.

The nurses there do NOT joke and make comments behind a patients back.

There behaviour is proper and correct at all times.

I have been going to the McCormick Hospital for over 20 years and never had a complaint.

  6. Her book ‘Thai for Beginners’ is not on the reading list for those medical students, attending medical school in my home country, who are planning their elective in Thailand. It is unnecessarily complex to the point where she seems to have confused here self.

Instead James Higbie’s book Essential Thai is recommended.

It is available from the book shop opposite the Mad Dog as is the more advanced version.
