What I miss at Mc Donald's is the Quarter Pounder with cheese. The double cheese just not taste the same.

That will be very difficult to find in Thailand. Did you look at the Honda steed ?. 400 cc or 600 cc. I have seen a couple of those for sale over the past few months.

I'm not really looking for discount. It's more about the service for me.

For those of you interested you can now shop on-line at Makro. I registered and tried it, works really well. I got the delivery next day. https://www.makroclick.com/en/

Would love to see a photo with the deck.

Hey thanks, at the moment I use it everyday. My thought too I may put a bigger in-ground pool in when I have learnt all the pros & cons 1st hand. Did you upgrade to a sand filter or stay with the cartridge system ?. The sand filter seems to almost pay for its self in a couple of years, compared to the cost of replacement cartridges.

Ok so I went for 4 x 2 meter above ground pool. Don't need to swim just somewhere to cool off when it gets too hot. The cartridge filter pump that came with it does not seem very strong. Works fine for 4-5 days then slows down. On checking the filter it is not very dirty, but when I replace I have full pump pressure again. Even washing the old one out does not seem to remove any dirt. I was thinking of getting a sand filter pump and fill with glass media. Any advice from pool owners please.

I got so fed up about the reclining seat issue plus given a very small space. I now only travel business class on international flights. I only travel once a year, the extra cost is well worth it.

Hi, what is the cost of the 6x3x1.3 Resort tub ?.

Another thought, has anyone got an above ground pool similar to this https://www.lazada.co.th/products/intex-2678828316-prism-frame-13-20-i220210249-s335593815.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlistcategory.list.29.17d76ef2v9LATK&search=1

I am thinking of building a 6x3x1 meter swimming pool. I will work with our local builder as we have worked together for years and he is really good, just lack finishing touches, that’s where I come in. So I know nothing about building a pool. Have any of you made your own pool with bricks, cement and tiles. Another thing is I have unlimited amount of pumped Mekong water available. I know it would have to be filtered in some way. It would be a shame not to make use of it in some way.

Not at Macro in Nakom Phanom. If you can send me a photo of the bottle preferably with the bar code I can get the Macro here to order some.

Lime juice is available here, I was just trying to find out if it would become like a cordial by adding sugar and water. Has anybody tried that ?.
-
The reason I am looking for it on-line is because I am in That Phanom, very much non tourist area. When I am in Krabi there is a shop in Krabi town that sells it 70 Baht a bottle. Unfortunately this year we did not travel to Krabi. Roses at Lazada ( out of stock ) at 380 Baht a bottle is priced a bit over the top.

Yes that was what I was thinking of buying, but need to transform in a cordial. Looking on the web, it seems cordial has a lot of sugar and more water. I wondered if anybody has tried before, and if so how much sugar and water to add.

I can't find lime cordial anywhere on-line. Has anyone tried to make lime cordial from a bottle of lime juice. It looks like you just need to add sugar and water. It would be nice to have a shot of lime cordial in a beer occasionally.

It looks like I will be here for about a year. I have Pacific Cross travel insurance that expires in a couple of weeks. As I am just about to turn 66 Pacific Cross will not give me health insurance without a medical. I have no intention to travel to a hospital for a medical and blood tests they asked for, as I consider hospitals to be high risk places for COVID 19. Can any one give me an option ?. I only need major in-hospital cover, all minor problems I can cover myself. If I was to self insure would 2 million Baht be enough ?.

I was told that I must keep 800k for the next 3 months. What is the law ?. If you keep in excess of that amount but don't go back and show it. Have you broken any law ?.

Ok so I may not have had to do the 90 day report, and if I had to go to the immigration office I would not have. However the on-line report worked so now I have nothing to worry about until July. Full confirmation has been sent to me.
-
Ok Thanks ubonjoe. I just wanted to see if the on-line works. I am happy to say it was successful

A question. When filling out the on-line 90 day report form. What is the visa issue date. Is it the original date given at the embassy, or the latest extension date. I am getting a service error date on the App.

Just tell the bank to charge your account for the cost of the letter, then up-date the book. Works for me.

Ok I went for the Intex above ground pool. Really impressed much better than I expected. Had it a couple of months now and use it daily. It's just great for cooling down. Maintenance is minimal, I had to change the supplied cartridge filter pump to a sand pump. Very happy.
