The topic is about YL removal as caretaker Pm not about Abhisit and Suthep and May 2010 and any live fire zone. Stick to the damn topic.

It is on topic. You just have not read far enough back in the thread. Hey, I like your font. Makes you seem big!

I said stick to the damn topic. What the hell is wrong with you can <deleted> read English?

  2. Why can't none of you so called experts answer my question. Or are you just wheelchairs expert here who just talk crap but have no knowledge.

Can the caretaker cabinet appoint new members to replace those removed. And can they appoint a new caretaker PM.

    Only facts no BS.

Today i went to the mazda dealer near pattaya.

I have finally a look of the new mazda 3 and is really really nice. So i decide to get one.

I am not sure yet if take the sedan or the hathcback, actually i prefert the hatchback, but they told me thai pepole prefer sedan cars, so for the future maybe will be more is to resell it.

Actually they cannot give me discont, but they can give 1 class insurance, free registration and a cople of other usuall things

You should wait if you can for the next car show you get a lot more options than from that dealer in Pattaya.

  4. I just don't understand why Suthep is afraid of an election. He has the masses on his side so all you internet supporters of Suthep say. He only need to form his own party and be first on the party list. He will triumph from the support of all the people who are for reforms first. So what is the big problem here? The problem is his supports are full of it. He does not have all the support he would finish just like Abhisit a distance second. The so called uneducated people will once again rule the country. This is what you are afraid of. Defeat at the hand of government. Let the people decide what they want not a hand full of thugs. Elections first and than reforms.

When at work and somebody asks where I Iive I say Thailand. About 10% of the responses I get are negative mentioning under-age sex. I've been visiting Thailand for years, have lived in various places in Thailand and on a couple of the islands. I've done and continue to do the bars, I've spent a short time in the temple, lived out in the sticks for a while. I had a small girlie bar for a short time and think it would be fair to say I've seen a lot of things in the Kingdom. Whether I walk around with blinkers on or simply don't see it I've never seen anything I could think of as a farang engaging in under-age sexual grooming, activity with a minor. I know a number of guys who have small children with Thai girls and they say they are often stared at when out and about alone with their kids. In most cultures there is an underground sexual exploitation of children, the UK has a lot to be ashamed of in this regard. Why does Thailand get the bad publicity?

Good comeback, shame someone who a newbie has more sense than you.

  6. People who say maybe they don't understand English is just given a stupid excuse. Everyone knows how to say hello, or just a nod of the head. why make it such a big deal. No one is asking you to have a conversation with anyone.

I find it a good thing... If us honest working people have to do all this then those who think they can find a way around the law should be punished. Getting a visa is easy. Just get one for the right reasons... Retirement starts at age of 50, or get and education visa and learn something which is good for a year and renewable up to 3 years. Or GET A JOB or invest in the country... And if you don't make the requirement for a marriage visa which is 400.000 baht then you seriously did something wrong in life if you don't have 9500 euros on your savings account... It just shows you are in Thailand for all the wrong reasons. Wish we were more stricter in Europe. It would keep the scum out that is draining our countries

i'm here as a longterm *tourist* and i'm not pretending/aiming anything else. i already speak 6 languages including much better thai than the average longtermer married to a thai so i'm not much interested in "learning" on a ED visa. i'm here for my own reasons (not the women and definitely not to work!); keywords are hammock, book, sea, peace of mind. i'm as honest as you are. there seems to be a lot of bitterness towards farang in thailand who are still young, DON'T have to work, DON'T have to buy a house in the name of the wife, DON'T have to support inlaws, etc.... and the argument that it will keep scum out is pure nonsense.

The reason for this is very simple: to make working illegally more difficult.

Don't meet the visa requirements, then you'll have to stay on tourist visa. Until that loophole is closed, it is more difficult than it was in the past already. You know you don't meet the visa requirements as they are intended, so measures like this can not come as a surprise.

in a perfect world your argument works. here, in thailand as we know it, i can pay a certain amount to certain people and i get a certain extension (1-3-6 months) based on being unable to leave the country due to medical reasons... or anything else that is on offer that very day. alt=whistling.gif>

this rule is a farce. anyway, it will not affect my stay here (i don't mind flying out and back in again) except that i loved doing these visa runs to kawthoung! seriously.

Look like we need reforms in this area too. Let see now, paying off the right people. Suthep and Abhisit should be interested in this.

Since the mods deleted my first post, let me try it another way. In my experience, I find those who are inclined to make comments that are detrimental towards bikes, in general, have never ridden anything bigger than a 110cc to the market and back. Driving a bike is like driving a car. Basically it boils down to road awareness and common sense. Yes, there is an abundance of stupid bike riders, just as there are an abundance of stupid drivers of cars. To blatantly state that motorbikes/motorcycles are the most dangerous weapon in Thailand, shows a disrespect towards bikes that is unwarranted. It's not the fault of a bike that causes an accident, but the rider DRIVING STUPIDLY in most cases, as is obvious in this particular case.

I've been riding bikes since I was 8. I'm now 66, and STILL prefer a bike bike over a car whenever possible. In the 6 years I've been driving in Thailand, I've taken 250's and bigger all over the north and north east of Thailand and had a blast doing it. The only accident I've had is having to put my 2 month old CBR 250 into the ditch when some jerk in a long bed truck suddenly realized he was about to miss his left turn, slammed on his brakes and turned sharply, leaving me the option of slamming into the truck, or putting the bike into the ditch. I chose the ditch.

I agree that Thailand is awash with idiotic, untrained bike drivers, but again, don't blame the bike, blame the rider.

The mod deleted your answer because of your insult nothing to do with what type of motorbike I ever drove. So stop your damn lie it was about insults not about riders skills.
