Agreed, bring your own copies of everything, signed. If you do that then you can avoid the "photocopy fee".
Always give exact change as well as they like to keep any change to themselves.

Raja is scary, old boats and Mickey Mouse service. Seatran is way better, more timely and newer boats, both same price.

Ok, story time.
Was driving the car home with the wife the other night, dead sober and awake. All of a sudden there was a bike in front of me! Almost crapped my pants but he had just got lost in the "light traffic" of all the vehicle lights in front of me. Just did not see him, he blended in to the ambient light noise.
Missed him, thank Buddha but got me thinking so I now have 4 sets of green ( I ride a Kawasaki) led lights on the back frame of my bike. I also wanted a color that would make people look twice and hopefully not grease me.
Only see them at night so not too geekish.

Well, after trying to clean the crap off the inside of my windscreen it is now officially buggered!
Anyone out there know of a place that will remove my old factory tinting film and replace it?
Cheers.

Sorry...hate this spelling repair crap.....I can spell! Meany to say farang but ended up Varangians. Does anyone know what a Varangian is?
-
I have one for one simple reason....I am a Varangians and therefore any accident will be my fault. God forbid I get into one but the first thing that will happen if I am capable is that the card will be removed and saved until I can give it to my lawyer. Under no circumstances will the card find its way into any of the BIB hands. I just think it might disappear.
Cheap insurance really.

Congrats on the bike, I assume you got it from the new Kawasaki dealer here.
Best bet for rides is to just put your willingness to travel out there and see if anyone is doing a trip.
-
Wouldn't be too tough, get the first Russian....Chinese...Korean...etc to write it down and done.
-
Best of luck and happy, safe riding.

It would help if they put the number machine outside where applicants can take a number and wait for it to be called.
One for renewals...one for extensions......
Sorry, is this making too much sense?

Sorry, no real sympathy for the Birdman.

Bought a used Versys about 6 months ago and the first thing I did was take it in to the local Kawasaki factory shop for a 100% check and fluid change? I always like to know my baseline and work all of my routine maintenance from there.
Where are you located? Might be a good plan to start a history with the local Kawi shop anyways.
Enjoy the bike...I love mine!

Wow, actually nice to hear a good comment about Immigration. Was it the young lady who helps out the desk girl? Always found her to be quite polite.

Yep, up to you.
Personally I hate the traffic in Surat and the 44 towards Krabi then 41 North is just effortless.
Just my two cents.

If you are going from Lamai towards Nathon it is about four kilometers from the big turn at Hua Thanon. There is a big furniture shop called Winner on the left and it is just past that. Can't miss the big Kawasaki Green sign!

Shop is up and running.
Versys, eR6n, Ninja (300&650), z1000, 250 sl(?), dtracker.
Pretty decent selection and nice two lift service setup.

Rumour has it the shop is owned by the same guy who has the Surat shop and have always had good service from them.
Hoping it is just a short delay!

Have been eagerly anticipating the opening of the factory Kawasaki shop near Hua Thanon for a while now and was teased by the sign outside that said "opening Dec 26!".......Nope.
Was by today and while the steel shutters are installed the outside is still a bit of a mess so no idea when they will actually open.
Looking forward to not having to go to Surat to get my bike serviced.

Hey folks, lent my truck out and it came back with a mystery substance on the inside of the windscreen. Tried to get it off with mixed results so if anyone knows of a really good car cleaning/detailing place that could give it a go I would appreciate the referral.
Thanks

There is also a ThaiPost outlet right in Don Mueang so if you have too much stuff or anything you can't carry on just mail it from the airport.

Hi Jimmy, they have a couple of the new Saab Grippens there and have seen them take off a few times.
Air Force base first, civilian base second.
I am pretty sure both Pattaya and Chiang Mai are also Air Force bases. Oh yeah...Don Muang as well.

Ok, I take my bike to Surat airport all the time.
Best route for me is to take the normal route to Surat but turn left on to Highway 44 to Krabi ( about 30km from Donsak) and go for about 38km and turn North on Highway 41 and in 25km you are at the airport. Airport is right on highway 41 so hard to get lost. No worries with traffic lights or crazy traffic on either highway.
Parking is free, easy and relatively safe as the airport is in fact an Air Force base. I always lock my bike with a cable and lock just in case.
Hope this helps.

My vote is for Bully's on Sukhumvit near Soi 4. Always good and you can sit outside, enjoy a nice cigar and watch the entertainment flow by.
Oh yeah, really good Buffalo hot wings as well!

Thanks to all who replied.
Ended up at a little place right at the bottom of the hill heading north just past Makro. 2,200 all in for removal of old film and replacement of both the inner and outer films. Really nice folks and no shoddy half-assed work.
