So they just returned after watching the Alcazar show. Ladyboy entertainment all night long...
Always blame the victim.

Suddenly the authorities never heard of the word defamation. She's the one who should be locked up. Who does she know?

They made it easy to learn of 2 restaurants to avoid like the plague.

On annual trips to the U. S., I use Enterprise and Avis---no issue with Thai DL.

While I agree that some balcony railings are low, the percentage that fall over by true accident I suspect is very low. Most are self induced whether it be suicide, drug or alcohol related or the slight "nudge" from the GF. More interesting, it seems like the majority of them happen in Pattaya and to men over 50. They can't all be clumsy or 6'5
As for railings being built to "Thai size" per Pgramm's note, Thai's are not all that short, thin maybe, but not short. Many of them are average size like foreigners. You do not hear about tall Thais going over the railings. Just a point to consider.

Is it just me? Or has Thai Visa Forum become inundated with whinny butt posters...who add nothing to the subject of the post...but prefer to be hyper-critical of others who actually do post...try actually posting to the subject...you may find you like it better than bashing other posters...
Get a grip...not a gripe!
Well said! Love your avatar.

Suspected 'heart attack' that's usually how Cambodia reports accidental heroin overdose, from taking otherwise safe cocaine sized doses.
It’s the Golden Triangle effect at work – with so much of it being produced next door, heroin is pretty easy to come by in Cambodia. It’s easy to get and purer than what is sold in Europe or in the U.S. It’s so cheap, dealers will sell heroin as “cocaine”… leading to all those unfortunate “heart attacks” in the news.I find your post very offensive. With nothing but great, warm and loving things to say about him, the first thing any of this young man's family or friends would see if they happen upon this thread is your tasteless and unnecessary post. Whether you think you're providing "information" or just being a nasty troll, you should be ashamed for the inference.
Well said mate.

" A professional sketch artist visited her in the hospital to draw a composite of the suspect, and she’s hoping it will lead to an arrest."
Unfortunately, it will be blurred when (or if) the press releases it to prevent possible loss of face to the assailant.
She's certainly an optimistic girl, if perhaps a little too naive to the dangers of Thailand. Surely this will give her a bit of a crash course in Bangkok street smarts.
That's it. Another vote for "blame the victim".

Your 2 hours should be OK for that time of AM.
But what's the big issue with three hours? Enjoy Starbucks while you wait!
I go international in Business Class and almost missed it because of traffic.
Have you ever missed an international flight. It ain't pretty.

Easy alternative is an E Visa through the government site - evisa.moip.gov.mm
Can't remember the details -I am moving and all my files are packed.
Very easy process from your desktop without spending a lot of time.

I used Asian Tigers for my move to Thailand - they handled the Thailand portion of the move---very professional.
I will be using JVK International next week for a local move---so far, also very professional. Tel 02 379-4646.
Get a bid from both.

I have had ongoing kidney stones issues. My doc at BPH is "Jimmy" Kongcharoen. Always straight up and professional.

Without a vibrant resale market, appraisers anywhere would tend to be conservative. Here, for sure.

17,000? Hardly. Was there in the am for the start and I'd guess a 1,000. Majority were Thai: guessing maybe 70%.
Appeared to be well run with none of the hiccups of the last marathon.

Recent talk about the Fed raising interest rates as early as June is what is causing the upward trend in the USD.

Agree. Always quick, polite service at the office.
Tried to send an international fax but didn't work. Called the number, got a good English speaker who solved the issue immediately. Puts every other government office to shame.

Are quality parakeets like quality tourists?
Class action lawsuit against Bangkok Bank , New York.

Typically, a class action notice comes from the court, plaintiff's law firm or another firm appointed as a clearing house for the court pronouncements. Never from the defendent. Read the document you received carefully and be sure it's not from the court or plaintiff. Usually you are given the choice to be part of or not part of the class.
If BBL was illegally charging fees and the court agrees, the plaintiff and defendent will negotiate. Then reach a settlement which will be presented and accepted by the court and finally presented to you.
I really can't understand why BBL is contacting you directly!! Something's off here.
