I & many others don't have a printer, I use a tablet & my phone, is it possible to save the approval when I finally get it on my phone somewhere ?

It says to print off & save with passport but I don't take my passport with me when I go out but I always have my phone/tablet with me. If anyone knows please update us, thanks ????????????

I went in person a few times during this mess and never had a PAPER copy either(back when 90 day online SOMETIMES worked), they pointed out that NEXT TIME, I should have it - but have not been fined or anything. I DID get a bit cheeky last time and asked whether they could not see my info in their fancy system on the screen anyway? ????

I have NEVER had anybody outside immigration ask about it. Cheers!

  2. I got the password registration email in my Gmail spam after about 2 hours like most here. Managed to log in.

I am in the correct time period to file the report (13 days before the due date) but get a charming red "unsuccess" popup when filled out the information to submit filing.

I am sure many more kinks to work out (also had new passport where had to file manually before). Cheers!

  3. I have been hit too Bangkok Bank - multiple small charges with lowest being around 25 Baht and highest around 200 Baht All "purchased via EDC" Spread over 6 months at least (hard to see if any are actual real charges as no further description on BKK Bank ibanking.

    Totals to estm 3k Baht.

Called them but was on wait for an hour. Will go see them tomorrow.

This is already in place in certain EU countries. And its not necessarily a requirement to have been hospitalized. You can take a test and get a valid pass for 6 months.

I was referring to Thailand. Here it WAS/(is) a requirement one was hospitalized (in Thailand) to get the certificate - wherefore the hospital could issue the certificate. They have no other way of doing it HERE. Cheers!

  5. XRP being government friendly might well be a huge advantage for obvious reasons. Also the current legal case with the SEC might well go to a settlement and XRP have some catching up to do, that was caused by that. When settled, the big US brokers like Coinbase Etc. Will add them again for even more (initial) upside. As with all crypto, not much is proven as to future use case for XRP but just those points makes it look like a good medium term TRADE at least.

You mentioned CHIA as a decentralized storage coin. That is not really its sales point or planned usage (it just used Proof Of Storage to be mined - more environmentally friendly they say). Again: I look more at the potential TRADE and its arrival to the market trading happened with the latest BTC crash, went from the starting $1400 range down to now $250 range where it has stabilized no matter what good/bad news happens in the crypto sphere.

I could babble away about the team behind it or future use plans, but like with all crypto, that would just be wishful thinking ????

I hold those 2 amongst others.

I am sorry JCP108 but I think you have got your statistics wrong. The topic is called Conditional Probability, and it works such that, if there is a 1:200 risk that the test result is incorrect, when you do three tests there is only a 1:200x200x200 risk that all three are wrong. That is one in eight million, which is a pretty low risk.

You are correct if pure statistics and tests were given at the same time. They are not. So if first test is a positive I will go to holiday tent prison camp! ????. If first one is negative I might test (false) positive on the 2nd one and go to holiday tent prison camp! Same with the 3rd test, probably just before my planned return! Tourists are gonna love that! Cheers!

People coming to Thailand now with a work permit are allowed to quarantine at home after purchasing ( and registering the wristband) and installing the tracking app on their phone as well. In addition they must pay for the official transport from the airport to their residence. They are allowed to move around within 500 meters of their residence then after a few days a Covid free test then at the end of 14 days another Covid free test. Then they give the wristband back to the vendor. So the total cost I had to pay so that my colleague from Singapore could come was:  wristband 17000

                          Registration fee.   3500

             Transport fee to Korat.  18000

             Follow on Covid tests.    4000

Oh and then the bad news after being released from home quarantine he had to attend a business meeting in Buriram province and Buriram implemented their own restrictions and required him and his two colleagues to get a Covid test in Nong Ki at the government hospital where there was a long que to be tested ( 3 to 4 hours) all of them had tested Covid free in Korat the same day and the following day in Buriram after being tested but no time to wait for the results they were excused and told that they would be contacted with the test results. Well all three of them became sick with Covid the next day and fortunately no life threatening  reactions but all three ended up in the hospital for 15 days( 3 different hospitals) getting grossly overcharged..what a place !

    SOurce? Complete news to me!

  8. I am going to Bangkok office (MTT) to do my 90 day report now that system is down. I have heard 2 versions from there as to what they do without the printed 90 day slip (just printed email). One said "come again tomorrow" (makes no sense as system down tomorrow too), another said: "ok, but remember print next time" and renewed based on just the email.

Anybody else can advise experience in that case?

  9. My guess is that one of those cans contain about same caffeine as a normal small cup of coffee - so around 100mg. 500mg spread over a day will for SOME give them jitters and sleep issues, while others can handle it easily.

The sugars in it is too little to matter, but there could be other ingredients that affect you (not listed - or considered part of the "coffee concentrate").

My first thought will however be to reduce the number of cans drunk to say 3 daily and SAME time (and probably more importantly!) ensure you down enough water, as caffeine is dehydrating which for sure gives the head aches and can affect mood too. Cheers!

  10. Grateful that friends and loved ones are safe. Also that the planet seems to enjoy the break from us!

As many have mentioned: The stock and crypto markets have had a great year! So less/no work while investments have been raking it in. Sure; Bitcoin and Tesla have done hundreds of %, but even if one had just bought the global stock market index one would be up 15% YTD. ???? Not bad for a year which feels like it was straight out of a bad Sci-fi movie. Was there not murder hornets too!?

For sure the stock bubble needs to deflate - so maybe that is why even more money flow to crypto...

    Cheers!

  11. I bought my Lenovo on Amazon US. Many supplier DO ship to Thailand. They DID have an import handling/tax/shipping fee but even after that it was 30% cheaper than in Thailand, and I got the US keyboard. In fact: Amazon refunded some of the tax fee as they hold as a (highest guess) deposit and refund the rest.

It DID state (and arrive in) 5-7 days though - so might be too long to wait for you but maybe other supplier faster.

My tablet is a ultra portable tablet/PC (Chuwi Minibook) that runs full Windows with 16GB RAM/256GB SSD and 8 Inch screen, that is my back up emergency, should the main one die on travels.

    Cheers!
